Yes, I've had similar experiences with the Swedish Buffy fora (plural of forum; yes I'm sure), although I'm sure there are good ones out there (there is just so much Buffy stuff on the net it's unbelieavable, hard to find the best sites). This one is at least wonderfully active and friendly, and I'm already becoming addicted. Thanks to angelic slayer for saying I know my stuff, since my Buffy knowledge dates back less than a year. However, when I focus on something I tend to get a bit too focused, so I have sapped up enough Buffy knowledge in that time to actually be able to put in my pennny's worth (or whatever that is in Swedish currency) in discussions. I'm still checking around to see what's here - I wonder if there actually is a discussion on all of the symbolism contained in the series somewhere? There are special sites for that, but they might get a bit too academic for someone who doesn't have a degree in humanities but rather in science...
