Okay, well whereas I am not exactly new here I really haven't been an active memeber since late 2011/early 2012 and I just wanted to reintroduce myself sort of and meet new people! Seeing as a lot of the members seem to have change/are new and I have made one of my New Year's resolutions to become an active memeber again. 🙂

Anyway, hi, I'm Jane! I'm 19. I am a Tillow fan obviously, but really at the moment I cannot think of a ship I dislike. I enjoy all ships in the time they have. Willow, Anya, and Dawn are my favorite characters in BtVS and Fred, Cordy, Angel, Lorne, and Wes are my favorites from AtS. My Fiancè and I met here on Buffy-Boards 3 years ago January and March 2013 I proposed to him with a Claddagh Ring in the name of Buffy. His name on here is dan-k if anyone remembers him!

Ummmm..... Idk what really else to say at the moment. If you want to know a little more about me personally go check out my Tumblr (the link is in my signature). I have a wicked long and descriptive "about me" section on there. Haha XD Or just message me or reply on here. Or just say hello! I am just looking for a good time with people who share a love for my favorite TV show of all time on a forum I once loved so greatly! <3

Hey there! Welcome back to the forum! It's always nice having returning members 🙂

Seems like we have a lot in common 😛 Tillow if my OTP, but I enjoy most ships. And nice sig, I used to watch OTH religiously (but only the first 5 seasons, I gave up after that, the show had changed too much). Haley and Nathan was also my favorite ship on that show.

It's also pretty neat that you met your fiance here!

Anyhow, hopefully you enjoy being back!

Thanks! I don't quite remember if you were active when I was last here, but it is good to meet you now! We seem to have quite a bit in common from the stuff I have observed around the Board thus far! Naley is my fave <3 and I know what you mean. I enjoyed seasons 1-4 far more than the others but that was only my first watch through. Daniel and I are doing a rewatch now (his first watch through) and we are in season 4 so we'll see! And thank you! Yeah we both find it pretty neat. It is also fun when we tell people how we met lol they think we're such nerds! And so far I am quite enjoying it! Though I think a BTVS/ATS rewatch is in order so I can get more into the discussions. It has been so long! Haha.

Welcome back Jane! 🙂 And big congrats to you and Dan-K!

ps: I love your Nathan and Haley banner! 😀

Thanks so much!! I am glad to be back! And thank you! Do you remember him??
Thank you!! Isn't it beautiful?? Ahh Naley <3 haha

Hi there! Welcome back! 😀

We have so much in common! 😀 I love Tillow, and your favorite characters are some of mine as well 😀

HI! And thanks! I love when I meet people with the same love for Tillow! 🙂 What are you favorite characters?? 🙂

I actually think I was the one on break when you were active, I just came back last year. You're making me want to do a re-watch of OTH now! I haven't seen it in year, I used to be obsess when I was a young teenager lol. On a side note, I know all about people thinking I'm a nerd 😛 Few know I'm actually part of a forum, but most think it's pretty nerdy, couldn't care less though, this place is like home! Plus being a huge fan of Harry Potter, LOTR, Hunger Games etc and a gamer, doesn't help with the nerdiness.

Oh you SO should!! I love it!! This is my first rewatch (I started watching it for the first time during my senior year, right before season 9 came out on TV). I have tried spacing it out a bit because with Buffy I watched it so much when I first got into it that I soon knew basically everything that was going to happen and I wouldn't say that I got tired of it per say, but you know lol I haven't done a full watch of Buffy since the summer before my senior year(I am in my second semester of my second year of college now). I too love Harry Potter and the Hunger Games! I am not a huge LOTR fan though. To be honest it kind of bores me. I did like The Hobbit a little more than LOTR though. I think maybe I should read the books because with THG I really disliked the movie and was like "This is what all the hype is about?" Then I read the books and was in love! <3 I'm not much of a console gamer, but I love Pokemon (GBA sp) and I play Sims and Candy Crush on my Kindle. Does that count? lol

I actually watched two episodes of OTH yesterday. I'm not too sure if I'll keep going or not (I get pretty busy at school/work), I'll take it as it comes. I also want to finish American Horror Story, so I have a few shows in the back burner right now 😛 You should try to re-watch Buffy not if you have the time! I've seen everything over 10x, but I hadn't watched any of it while I was in university because of the lack of time, this summer I did a re-watch and I was surprised as to how much I had forgotten.

I get what you mean with LOTR, I know a few people that find it quite boring, and honestly, if you didn't like the movies you'll probably dislike the book even more. Tolkien loves to write with a lot of details, he creates a fantastic world that you can get immersed in (which is why I love it), but the books feel much more slow paced compared to the movies. The book of the Hobbit is excellent though, very different than LOTR (partially because it's a kids book, so no dragging out). I agree about Hunger Games though, I saw the movie first and frankly didn't like it at all (I actually got a lot of the story wrong, like I thought Peeta was suppose to be a jerk with the bread scene, when it was the complete opposite). Then I read the book and loved it! The second movie was also much better in my opinion.

Lol, since I'm a pokemon fan, I'll saw that counts 😉 Woof, sorry for the long answer.

JANEY, WELCOME BACK, YOU SILLY GIRLY! 😀 😀 😀

Sorry, I haven't taken my ritalin yet today.

Two episodes from the first season or just random ones? We just started watching season 5 (I'm not sure if it was yesterday or the day before, we are watching it so often it all kind of runs together lol) and it reminded me of how awesome seasons 5-9 were. They have a completely different feel from seasons 1-4. I am okay with that though. It's like a whole new show with the characters I love and some new awesome ones thrown into the mix as well. Fantastic! <3 Yeah, it really has been a while for me with Buffy so we'll see how much I have forgotten. I have several shows I am trying to catch up on/watch for the first time so a Buffyverse rewatch won't be for a while I don't think. Maybe this summer when I come back to England with Daniel. Should be nice to do a full watch with him. Plus we have a list of how to watch Buffy and Angel like they were when they aired. And I have never seen American Horror Story, but I have heard it is good. Do you recommend it?

I don't now about LOTR. I want to at least give it a try. I mean yeah he gives a lot of detail but maybe that is exactly what I need. I might need to know all the reasons and stories behind the different characters and creatures. We'll see though, because I have SO many books on my reading list and they are not really at the top at the moment. I honestly don't even remember what I was thinking during the movie when I first saw THG. I kind of pushed it out. Except for a mud bath with a pig that I remember for some reason. I need to watch it again to see why I am remembering that lol And I need to see Catching Fire. Daniel and I kept wanting to go see it, but it ended up being too late once we finally decided to get up and go 🙁 I'll see it when it comes out 🙂

Good! I love Pokemon too! But just the games mainly. I am not much of a anime person. At all really. And no worries about the long post! Look at mine! lol sorry about my late reply. I have been sick so I haven't been on my computer and since your reply was so thought out I wanted to give it a good thought out reply of my own and I can't seem to really do that on my Kindle.

brinkster130 agrees: I think I remember him, big SMG fan right?

YES! That is him. HUGE SMG fan lol

I saw the first episode and one episode in s3? (the huge storm episode, it used to be my favorite). For some reason, I couldn't really get into it like I used to, but maybe I'll just need to watch a few more episode. I don't know, but things felt a bit too soapy this time around, but I'll give it another go. I do have to mention though, I forgot how bad*** Peyton is, I really love her character. One of these days I'll have to finish the whole series, especially if you say it's worth it. Usually I just tend to get bored towards the end and I find the series lost it's charm. This isn't just with OTH, it happened with LOST, Pretty Little Liars, and even Supernatural (which I need to get back into). I also want to do a full Buffy/Angel marathon in order of airing, but like you it might not be another while before this happens. I definitely recommend American Horror Story though! It's such an amazing show, not for the faint of heart though 😛

Definitely give it a try! It's not for everyone but it is a good book. I'm not sure if you'll get much more details concerning the characters and creatures than you did in the movies though. I might be wrong since I've read the books years ago, but from what I remember the movie adaptations were pretty good when it came to the storytelling of the characters etc. To me, the visual is really what makes LOTR, which is probably why I like the movies so much, but I'm thinking of re-reading the books soon. I was quite young when I first read them, so I'll probably enjoy them much more now. It's funny that you mention the scene with the mud bath and the pig in THG, because I don't remember that scene at all lmao (unless it was the bread scene, which I think there was pigs in it?). Guess you also got pretty unlucky with Catching Fire, it's still playing in theatres where I live, I'm surprised they stopped playing it so soon at your theatre.

Thanks, Britt! It's so funny when I first came back on I was like I wonder if Brittany is still on BB. I have had you on FB for sooooo long it feels like I know you outside the internet. :D

Are you talking about the one where Nathan gets out all the articles from when Haley was on tour and they basically do it on the hood of the car in the rain? lmao I loved that episode! And yeah you definitely need to watch more than just those two episodes. I recommend a full scale rewatch with season 6-9 as well. You can't just not finish it. It's not the same as it was when they were in highschool, but it is still a pretty amazing show. It has a new feel and a few new characters, but I grew to love them. It is so worth it, Blaze (what is your real name? lol) really!! I kind of lost the charm with Supernatural as well. I feel like I might need to rewatch from the beginning with that and go from there. I stopped when Dean went to hell? Or something and that was like 5 or 6 years ago so I think I might need to watch it again and keep going. And my fiancé says that with PLL. That is got way too ridiculous, but I still love it haha xD I can give you the details of in what order to watch Buffy/Angel if you want! 🙂 And is AHS gory or scary?

Definitely give it a try! It's not for everyone but it is a good book. I'm not sure if you'll get much more details concerning the characters and creatures than you did in the movies though. I think for me honestly it might just be better to read if because of the old fashion way they speak it is hard for me to get into it. I also like watching movies and shows with sub titles for better comprehension, but Daniel does not so I watched all of them and both Hobbits without. I don't know though. We will see! And yeah, I only remember that because the friend I went with hadn't read the books either and we both didn't like it and were just laughing so hard at that scene. I have no idea if it was the bread scene. And the little town we are in only shows movies for a short period of time. That and we are in England. xD

No worries, I'm not much of an anime fan either (I did watch the original Pokemon when I was young, but that's the extent of it)

Yeah, I watched a bit of Pokemon and Sailor Moon when I was young with my childhood best friend who actually still loves anime. I actually have so many friends who love anime. Like all of my close friends do, but I don't. haha Weird.
