Oh yes! I am still learning ways in how my latecomer perspective differs from others who were there from the beginning. It is quite interesting!

And yes, I watched totally spoiler free! My husband was very careful about that. He was impressed that I went on so many years completely unaware of anything that went on Buffy (he delighted in my reactions). I was hooked from the first season, but I think the moment where I just became obsessed with the show was in "Passion". Two words: Jenny Calendar. My world crumbled and I was never the same after that.

Passion is a beast of an episode. There's so much in there that hits home. Just how evil Angelus can be and the reactions of Buffy, Willow and especially Giles.

Uh-oh, has my Spike love gotten me in trouble already? LOL 😉

Not history as such but you soon get a feel for which characters rub certain board members up the wrong way. For example if you left topher & BEG alone to discuss Spike they'd be able to explain how he's the cause of global warming and directly responsible for the financial crisis 😀

But that's what's great around here. You can have a big long debate on opposite sides to board members on one topic and then find yourself on the same side of the debate on another issue. For the most part you come away with some food for thought and generally everyone's well behaved and can remain friendly even amidst a fierce difference of opinion.
