Hi all,
I’m new here! I want to introduce myself. My name is Kat, I’m a huge fan of BtVS and I’m Latinoamerican. I followed BtVS when it originally started in the late 90s, but I kinda drifted away and I rediscovered it a few years later. I used to follow it sporadically, but suddenly it started fascinating me, and I’ve been a big fan ever since. I’ve never watched AtS or any other Whedon’s show, nor have I ever read the comics (are they good?).
When I started re-watching BtVS, I started with season 5 so I’m a Spuffy fan, but I have a special place in my heart for Bangel. I love seasons 5 and 7. My favorite characters are Buffy, Willow, Spike and Faith. I don’t think that I strongly dislike any particular character (but we'll see after re-watching the show and discussing with you, I'm somewhat open to re-evaluate my thoughts if good arguments and alternative points of view are compelling... it has already happened a couple of times as I re-watch and read the meta). Now I do have some mixed feelings regarding some of the characters (including Faith and Spike, but I truly love them overall).
How long have you been BtVS fans? Who are your favorite characters and favorite seasons? I’m looking forward to interacting with y’all. And I hope the ship wars are not too bad, they can get intense in some forums.
