um........ yea i guess im kinda new... ive been here 4 like 3 days...

do any of you people read the buffy novels? have you read the one about spike and dru in 1940, Pretty Maids All in a Row, its about spike helping a demon killig the slayer line to get a magickal necklace for dru; yea i was wondering how DO you kill the slayer line, i thought that if you kill the slayer than the next noblest girl would become the new slayer... or something so technically theyd have to kill all the girls in the world ???

Hi there - welcome to the boards. "Pretty maids..." is an excellent book. I found the Buffy/Angel books are usually pretty good . I have particularly enjoyed the ones I've read by Nancy Holden and Christopher Golden (poetry anyone?😉)

i like Monster Island out of the 4 Buffy/Angel books i read, lol it was written by golden and some person named thomas e sniegoski (wow thats gotta be hard to pronouce...)

The slayer ran past it, up the dozen steps to the roof.

On the eastern horizon, golden light gleamed, threatening morning.

"Angel," Buffy whispered.

She took in the scene in an instant. Willow and Tara stood with a garishly dressed demon with horns and streaked blond hair. It had to be Lorne, she realized, the demon from that karaoke club Wesley had told her about. Beyond them, Buffy saw Angel, arms and legs spread out, huge iron nails driven through each of them, crucifying him him against the tenement roof. His head was turned slightly toward her, but there was no flash of reconition in his eyes.

Buffy was aware of Wesley, Gunnn, and Spike coming onto the roof behind her. Spike whistled appreciatively as he saw what had been done to Angel. "Now that's a nasty bit of work."

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Willow moving to intercept her, reaching out for her. A dozen feet away from Angel, the Slayer struck something, a barrier in midair. Her body danced as though electricfied, and then she was thrown backwards, twitching on the ground as the magick coursed through her...

stright from the front of the book... thats what got me to buy the book.... had to know what was gonna happen

most of these novels are written by golden and nancy... hmmmm
