Hi, I'm new!

Let's see.. I'm a 44 year old dude.. is it weird that I'm such a big Buffy fan? But then.. not just Buffy.. I'm a Whedonist in general.. just that Buffy, being such a long run series, was able to really explore and evolve in such a wonderful way. I'm a bit late to the party actually.. my real exposure came from FireFly.. after watching that series (on DVD), it completely transformed my view of TV.. I had a paradigm shift.. before TV was something lesser than cinema.. a cheap gimmick, waste of time (which I did plenty'o'wasting when growing up)... but then.. FireFly.. OMG! After marveling at the great creation that was FireFly (completing the DVD series) .. I realized all was not lost in the world.. and I craved more...

There I stood, in BestBuy, staring at the complete Buffy series (The Chosen Collection DVD box set)... this is something which I had know exists, but had dismissed through its entire network run! ... but it was a work of Joss ... well, I bought it, watched it.. and have been pretty much obsessed with it for the last 5 years or so.

It's great having you with us and Firefly, what a masterpiece. Glad to see more fans. We're slowly getting more and more board members into the show but the more the better. Hope to see you around.
 
Welcome! We all started watching Buffy and got obsessed. That's what this show does, addicting people to it. It's a force!
