Okay, so my best friend just got me to start watching Buffy and then she got me to join this board. So, I guess I'm supposed to tell you a little about myself? Here goes:

I love vampire stories. You name it, I like it. Dracula, Vampire Chronicles, Lost Boys, Buffy, Vampire Diaries, and, yes, even Twilight. I'm still in the process of watching all of Buffy. Gotten up through most of season 3. So far my favorite episodes are Amends, I Only Have Eyes for You, Surprise, and Passion.

Besides vampire stuff, I also love Broadway (some of my favorite shows are RENT, Aida, Chess, and Memphis) and I'm a huge movie buff. I'll watch anything except horror (with the exception of vampire movies of course). A few of my favorites are the Lord of the Rings movies (I've loved Tolkien pretty much since I've been able to read), Dead Poets Society, Young Frankenstein, and The Princess Bride. As far as TV goes, my favorite shows are Criminal Minds, Vampire Diaries (gee, big shocker there, huh?), Fringe, Alias, Seinfeld, and Firefly (LOVE Serenity, too--another of my favorite movies). Speaking of Joss Whedon, I also think Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog is a work of genius.

Hmmm...I don't really know what else to say. Anything else you want to know about me, just ask. I probably won't be contributing to discussions much at first because since I haven't watched all of Buffy (and Angel) yet, I'm not really sure what to say.

Welcome to the boards! Glad to have you!

LotR for the complete win! Totally in the same boat you are with Tolkien. Fringe = Love. You've got some pretty awesome stuff listed there.

Since you haven't gotten through all of Buffy or Angel, definitely be sure to watch out on the boards so you don't get spoiled. Watching those shows unspoiled is the best.

Oh and since you like Dracula, have you read the second book? It's been written by the nephew of Stocker's nephew or something like that... Anyways, if you haven't it's really good and since it has been written following Stocker's original notes for a sequel, pretty much everything in it follows the original author's wish 🙂

Yeah, what can I say? I'm a sucker for a good epic romance.

And no, I haven't read the sequel to Dracula, although the same friend that told me to join this forum also told me about it. It'll have to get added to my ever-growing pile of things to read.
 
😀Yeah my best freind is on the boards! You should be good on the boards as long as you avoid the second and third sections.

Don't worry, I'm a sucker for it too 😉

As a fan of the Dracula book myself, I have to say it is a must-read. And there's a very nice twist at the end that makes you wonder what if...

You haven't finished Buffy yet? Which part are you at? I'd actually advise you to only go on the boards once you've finished the entire series because spoilers are everywhere here. And you absolutely must go in as unspoiled as possible.

Fringe, Alias, Firefly and Dr Horrible. Now that's great taste. I say that not being a vampire lover. 😉

Hope to see you around but before of spoilers. They can be almost anywhere. Even in signatures...
