Hilarious/Frustrating Article

I'll give you one even more stupid and frustrating. At the school where my wife taught before retiring, a first grader was sent to the office, and his parents notified because he was threatening other students. "How was the boy threatening the other students?" you might ask. Well, he was pointing a SHRIMP at them, holding it like a pistol, and saying "Bang." Apparently, shrimp are considered lethal weapons by our school system. Thank God he wasn't using a chicken leg, or they might have had to call in the SWAT Team.

Oi. I miss common sense in this world...
Well on the one hand I can understand the emotion due to the shootings on college campuses. But I do agree that it was an over-reaction! The comments on that article were hilarious!

I am in general not fond of zero tolerance policies, especially when they involve children.
