It's bugging me and I'd like some help from people that are good at the entire Buffy metaphore world. In the episode Him when Xander and Spike visit RJ's big brother what's with Spike and the Angels. Why are he turning them around so that they have their backs to the room. I mean probably there's nothing there and if it is I'm just momentarily dumbed and can't see it so please tell my why he's doing that. Any theories?
 
perhaps it has something to do with Angel on some level.I'de rewatch the episode but my damn dvr lost it --- I should look for a trascript......
 
But does he really hate Angel? Isn't it more like a little brother complex or something like that?

yeh does hate Angel ( I'm sure for many reasons, the buffy thing the soul thing....)


Upon further thinking it may have to something with buffy as well she did come back from heaven(angels live there).....
 
It has to do with Spike feeling guilty with his new soul. He feels shame for all the people he's killed and turns the angels so that they won't look upon him.
 
Never noticed that scene until I read this thread. Had to go and watch it again.

All good theories here. Of course the fact that Spike was still marginally bugnuts might have something to do with it too.
