would it be cool if your parents were into the newest trends in fashion...language...and music??



for me...i like generational gaps...it would just be weird to have my dad listen to 50 cent and busting hella's...

tooo weird my dad is weird enough already dont need him to dress like a teen talk like a teen and listen to my music all the time thats just creepy gives me the shakes and shivers thinking about it lol

my mom she has pirods of time when she is acting all like a teen, she wears my sis clothes and tries real hard to be cool.. my sis is a prep, and wears jean paul and stuff!!! she'll save all her mony and stuff!(my sis not mom) and when my bros friend are around she tries to be their pal...

my mom and sis are sorta very good pals most of the times, exept when my mom is all stupid and acts like a B**tch cos then she is the worse person out there! she can be so crule!

but yeah, i do know what it's like to have a semi teeny mom..(my mom was 20 and my dad was 18 when they had me.. maybe she's making up for lost youth???) she doesn't listen too pop music or 50Cent or anything and it's only these little idès she gets in her head now and again, when she's acting normal she's like any other 40 year old... i think LOL

BTW my mom is not insane, it just sounds like she is 😀

My mom loves eminem though lmao my dad hates my music.... Mom will only let me play eminem in her car its that or her music....... i dunno my parents are kinda cool but not fully so its not totally freaky... the freakiest part is my mom talks to all of my friends and they all love her and wanna talk to her like every day
 
My mom thinks she's 18...she dresses more like a teen than I do. Trust me, it's VERY annoying---she acts way more immature than I do!
 
That'll be me! More immature than my kids! LOL! My mom is mature in some ways and still a kid in others. My friends always liked her and we can fight like sisters do but it was never really annoying to me when she gets into the "youth" stuff. I actually enjoy her more when she cuts loose...my dad...well, he's a dad! I'm going to drive my kids insane and I'm going to love every minute of it too! With how crazy my daughter has made me she'll deserve it in spades! ::evil1::
 
My mom sometimes tries to do the dances showed in the clips on MTV ... and she loves Robbie Williams (for the American ppl, in Europe and Australia he's as big as Justin Timberlake with you!)

I like the generation gap! I think you can learn a lot from your parents...
...like what music they were into (some of it is quite good i.e. the beetles, pink floyd etc.) and what fashions never to follow (cos they did🙂)!!

I don't really follow fashion but i've noticed a lot of 80's stuff being brought back and it's scaring me! Parents may start wearing their old leg warmers! 😱 ::nono::

My parents, I'm not really sure cos they hate some of my music I'm into but sometimes when a recent song comes on the tv or radio they sometimes like it. Hell knows whats going on with my folks lol

oh my mom is like that too, i ahve a friend who goes to visit my mom, and when ever she used to visit me(when i lived at home) she would sit down with my mom...

my brother has a friend who calles her is second mom....

BTW: glad to hear my mom ain't the only one dressing not like she's 40!

i think mom has an issue with getting older! yeah that's what it is!
 
My mom is nice most of the time, but shes never 'hip' and never will be. then theres those few days a month where she gets all angry.....

as for my dad. Hes a real ass. Most of the time....
 
My mom is like 40, and she listens to the new music, wears the new fashion stuff, but she doesnt speak like the latest languages or whatever, cuz that would be weird!
My moms so cool! 😉
