In OMWF Anya's line in "I'll Never Tell" "His Penis got diseases from a Chumash Tribe" would indicate that Xander was never rid of the syphillis and/or other VDs he contracted in Pangs. So Xander is dirty.....hehe...what do you think?

No, I dont think he has syphillis anymore otherwise I dont think Anya would be sleeping with him thats for sure 😉

I think as a general rule whats in the show should be alloweed on the forum, besides she could of come up with far more colloquial terms.

The tense is kinda screwed up but it is past tense. It's just a word is missing, "his penis did get diseases from a Shumash tribe"
 
Well the phrase Anya used still worked "His penis GOT" which can go both ways, and if you were a big time Buffy fan atleas seeing Season4 you knew what Anya meant and Joss didnt worry about it.

Yes I know the tense 🙂 But the question is, by that line in "Ill never tell" can we assume he's still infected?
 
Doubt it...considering it was a spell that gave him syphillis in the first place...once the spell was broken, he was probably also no longer infected...

Could go either way I suppose. Anya may have just not mentioned that he had gotten rid of the STD ( or in his case CTD), or maybe he didn't really get rid of the problem. But I'd guess that he did. :jumping38

You're quite right Ash, it's just I know where my filthy mind may have taken this thread, so I thought "a gentle reminder never hurts". I'm sure such clean-living and wholesome members as we have here would never stray into that territory 😉 🙂
 
Once it was all over no more disease, that is what I think! Just a thing in Pangs.
 
The song "Ill never tell" dealt with things that each was keeping from the other/their friends about their relationship. You can interpret from the statement regarding his penis getting diseases from the chumash tribe as one of those things that affected their relationship that ,despite her being blunt about most things,Anya won't bring up as 'she'll never tell.'

Also it was a magical ailment that affected him and once the spell was ended so was the ailment (kinda like when "Amy" cursed Buffy to be a lil loopy) though Im sure for Anya's its kinda icky to think he was once infected.

You can also interpret that the song started off as just general worries about the relationship and then deteoriorates (until the very end) into them saying things they knew would just bug the other to have them brought up despite them being true.
