Hi guys! 😀

Uhh..I never know what to really say in these things, haha, so I'll just try some kinda shpeel here. My name is Steph, I'm 20 years young. I've been an AVID fan of all things Buffy-y and Whedon-y for 11 years now. My favourite Buffy character is Jenny, yes, obscure, I know lol, I'm of the very odd variety 😛. My favourite Angel character is Gunn. Favourite Buffy season is a tie between 3 and 4. Favourite Angel season is 2.
Um...Let's see, let's see...Oh, I'm definitely a geek of several different varieties. That's okay, though, as Willow says, geeks are in 😛. I enjoy photoshopping, (As seen in my signature, though I can't upload my own av which makes me a sad panda 🙁 ) movies (HUGE movie geek,) computers in general, acting, singing, writing, music. Basically, I'm very much into all things that allow me to create and use my imagination. I should truly stop blithering on before you all get extremely tired of hearing (Reading? Seeing?) me talk (Type? LOL) before I even get onto posting in the rest of the board.
I'm very friendly and I love to chat, especially with other avid Buffy/Joss fans, so don't be shy.

Jenny is awesome! Do you also ship Giles and her? Great couple. Now, I never met someone who's favorite character on Angel was Gunn! Why is he your fav, if I may ask?

Buffy season four was great. Did you enjoy Restless?

I'm glad you like my user name, Zobo! I keep hearing Andrew say "Buffy, slayer of the vampyrs!" In my head and cracking up. Andrew was definitely made of the funny.

Zalos: Oh, absolutely. Giles/Jenny all the way. It was such a bittersweet love story, and you knew from the start it was basically doomed to failure. One way or another, even if Jenny hadn't died, Giles' loyalty towards the cause and being a watcher would have, eventually, in my mind, ended it. What little we saw, I thought it was one of the most pure love stories we saw throughout the series. Jenny was so much his opposite, but she was utterly perfect for Giles, and visa versa. Jenny, it seemed, awakened certain things in Giles and Giles helped keep Jenny 'grounded,' in a way. I wish we had seen more of them.

Gunn is my favourite character because he is so different from anyone else that we've really seen on either show. He's the rogue, the one that doesn't seem like he would mesh with the rest of them, but does. In true Joss form, he took a character who by just about every other writer would be made a stereotype, and turned him into a layered masterpiece. He's not just 'boy straight out the hood,' which is what most writers would have turned him into, he's a great deal more than that. I enjoy Joss's complex style of layering, and to me, Gunn is one of the finest examples of Joss at his best. (Keep in mind, there are many, many different examples of Joss at his finest.)

Restless was a fantastic episode. It was not at all what you would expect of a season finale, which is one of the reasons I enjoyed it. Most season finales are all about getting the bad guy, taking down the big bad, and this one didn't tread on this ground. There are so many hints in this episode for the rest of the series, so many different themes interwoven into it, it truly makes you think. It's not an episode to be taken lightly, or at face value. You could spend hours dissecting each episode of television Joss has ever produced and find several different themes and meanings behind it, but I think Restless takes it to a new level.

Hey and welcome to the board, Steph!! I loved Jenny too and always felt so bad for Giles that after she died he never really got any closure from her death. awww...
 
Hi! Oh, I can already tell we're going to get along (that sounded creepy, didn't it?)! First of all, you used the word "shpeel," which is one of my words that I use a lot. Oh, and sad panda? Basically the best phrase to express sadness. Reminds me of John Noe... but you most likely have never heard of him... woah, random! Pardon me! It's nice to meet you! Ya should get sorted into a house! If you do decide to get sorted, I hope to see you in Vahla Ha'nesh! 😀 Hope you enjoy it here on BB! 🙂
 
To HisMrs (LOVE that screenname): I concur. It was very sad that he never got any real closure. Instead, he got to find her dead body, and then got Drusilla masquerading as her for the torture scene. It was all very heart-wrenching. I feel that, coupled with the fact that it really kinda did seem like she was 'the one,' were the reasons we didn't really see Giles delve into any further relationships.

To MandaMeena: It didn't sound creepy AT ALL! Haha. I totally understand what you meant. I TOTALLY agree with sad panda. I love it hahaha. As for John Noe, he runs TheLeakyCauldron, doesn't he? As for being sorted into a house...WHEW...I gotta get to reading the FAQ! Hahaha. NO idea what you are talking about lmao. Bad Steph!

Might I say, you seem like a cool chick! I have a cousin named Steph but...nobody really cares. LOL. She's not a Buffy fan, 😛. Anyways, you seem awesome. I love singing and acting and all that stuff too. A lot. So we're awesome. And I love your avatar, just sayin'.

Oh, and I could never get tired of reading what you have to say. You're cool and I love the people that introduce themselves with good infomation. And...Jenny's an awesome character. It's sad when she dies.
