OH NO!! Please tell me its not true.

I don't believe that, i read an interview where Joss said that he was not doing a spin off as yet so I don't think this is true, probably a rumour from her PR people to get her in the limelight and using the Buffy ending to do it.
 
I saw this yesterday as well. First off, it's from a tabloid, and second holly's people said "We'll just wait until we hear from teh buffy people" (I'm paraphrasing). So I think it's safe to say this is not true.
 
I hope it isnt, because it wouldnt be the same if someone else played Buffy!!!
 
If anyone actually read this article, (which I have just done) you will note that it is very incorrect! Just look what they wrote:

They said that "Gellar has turned down a seventh year in the show" ??

And they also said that Holly would REPLACE SMG as Buffy!!

That is all just SO WRONG!!

Like BUFFSTER 6 said--- the article talks about this girl taking over in the seventh year... hello, we've already got a Buffy for the seven th year thanks.

Plus~~ I distinctly remember that they were not going to recast ANYBODY in the role of Buffy... Buffy was over, but maybe one of the other cast members were going to be doing a spin-off... and one of those has not been decided yet...

Plus, the show does not star David Boreanaz as the article said... he has his own show and it is NOT called Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I've heard this before, but c'mon, do you really think Joss'd go for that, replacing SMG, no way!
 
No one could replace SMG it wouldnt be right!!! No one could play Buffy like SMG has!!!
 
One Piece of Advice... the british tabloids have a knack for embelishing on rumours and facts, turning them into little stories like this... Although... ooo I feel Fan Fiction challenge coming on, keep your eyes peeled on them there forums 🙂
 
This is an encouraging article though. It shows that the eyes of the world are on the future of the Buffy universe.

I think it's safe to say that it's becoming like the StarTrek franchise. Regardless of what current show is on the air, I think there will be a market for Buffy spin-offs for decades to come.
 
MORE OF THEM!! WTF?! Those people are Joss Whedon "Wanna-be's" and i think holly is a loser so...
 
I read this too but it isnt true seeing buffy is already in tis 7th season and it ahs offically been cancelled so i think its just publicity for miss valance 🙂
 
joss has been know to say that there will be no more buffy after season sever so i doubt it is true

smg is the only gal who can play buffy, anyone else would be a shody replacement, especially holy who can't sing let alone act.
the could put robbie williams in a dress and call him buffy and that would be more real.
