Holtz or Justine?

Ok, guys. Remember when Holtz tells Justine to kill him in "Benediction"? And then Connor thinks Angel killed him because it looks like Holtz was bitten. Well, I was thinking and I still don't know the answer. Did Justine make it look like a vampire bite or did Holtz tell her to make it look like Angel killed him? I really want some input because I can't figure it out! 😀 What do you think?

justine was told by holtz to poke two holes in his neck to make it look like he was a vampire, conner, finding out by overhearing fred and gunn talking about taking him to the seaside as a distraction while angel went to see holtz, ends up finding holtz body withthe two holes, and subsequently presumes that angel killed him.. ta da!!
i hope that cleared things up for you!

I watched the episode recently, and I just couldn't figure out if Holtz meant for it to look like that. BUt now that I know, how could he!? This makes me so furious! Was anyone else enraged by this? 😀
 
Justine definitely did not want to kill Holtz in the first place. He was her hero/mentor/whatever, and she was obviously traumatized by the experience. I think anything she did (during and immediately after) was at Holtz's instruction.

If I remember correctly, she told Conner (perhaps in the next episode) that Angelus had killed Holtz even though Holtz had freely given him his son back, and planned to disappear from the picture. I think this was Holtz's "final act of revenge".
