If the chip was running Windows, it was just fine. At random and unpredictable glitches, so every reaction would have been ok. 😉

Also, in the end, the chip wasnt not longer working as intended at all, so maybe that was just the climax, with all this little glitches before.

Retcons and sacrificing characterazation for plot bother me more, but I do hate continuity errors like messing up Buffy's birthday or Spike's age - the writers need an obsessed fan like us in the writing room to remind them of the show's facts. 😀

The only thing that really bothers me is the town. How it goes from a one starbucks town, that has a good side and a bad side, to have a warehouse district and docks, a bus depot, beach, university, airport and desert. To finally being in the middle of the desert!

But if you are talking about the episode where Buffy goes to meet the first Slayer I just thought that she travelled to a particular location which was outside of Sunnydale. I didn't see the desert as being part of the town😉
