Haha, I've just been watching Buffy with a friend and we were discussing which male character we would 'do', as it were... I instantly said Spike, and my (male, straight) friend agreed, if he was a woman, thats who he'd choose.

And then we agreed on Gunn... he's probably the most drool-worthy in Angel, although I admit having a soft spot for Doyle... I think it was the accent 🙂

Other drool-worthies include Wesley (but only season 4 Wesley- the whole tortured, dark thing really worked for him), and Giles... especially Giles in Band Candy (which I just watched... he's really quite sexy in that).

[I also have to say, that I know it sounds so wrong, but Ethan Rayne had a certain something... this was the main focus of our discussion, and we agreed (it took a good 30mins or so) that if you ignore the sleasy part, Ethan definitely has a certain something...]

So basically everyone is drool-worthy bar Angel (urgh), Riley (too sweet, totally put me off) and Xander (reminds me too much of my brother!). 🙂

Spike! He's STUNNING. That body, the platinum hair...and don't even get me started on his perfect cheekbones. I mean, really...just look at the man. He's like a work of art!

Now that my Spike mini-rant is over, I'll talk about the many other good-looking guys on Buffy. Xander looked great in his high school years, especially in "that scene" in Go Fish (you all know which one I'm talking about, I'm sure.) Angel looked good on Buffy, though I only thought he was more than "just okay" when he was Angelus. Must be a bad boy thing. I thought Riley looked great after he got rid of his greasy haircut, and now that he's played DL on Heroes, I have a newfound appreciation for Forrest. Wesley was definitely hot, especially after his geeky stage. Gunn has always been pretty. And Giles is one sexy fuddy duddy. He looked especially good back in his librarian days...I loved the glasses he wore!

Why must Joss cast such handsome men on his shows?

Haha I forgot about the Go Fish scene! Major props for that! THE only time I've ever thought about Xander in that way. Also more props for Spike... mmmmmmmm *daydreams*
Giles. As if anybody had any doubts about who I'd choose. lol. Definitely Giles. He was the hottest guy on Buffy. He had it all. He was attractive, wise, caring, brave... and even a good singer. lol. Spike and Xander both had their moments, too, though. They just couldn't compete with Giles. 🙂

On Angel... well, Angel was quite eclipsed in hotness by Gunn and Dark Wes. I think I favor Dark Wes slightly over Gunn. In terms of looks, though, those two are pretty evenly matched. They both had days when they seemed kind of ho-hum to me, but then they also both had days when I sat bolt upright in my chair and said, "Wow. That is one fine specimen of a man." Lindsey, too, was very good looking, as was Gavin.
 
uhm....Angel(us) and maybe Spike...frankly, I think the girls on Buffy are hotter than the boys...although Angel really is nice

Was going to vote for Groo, but I only find him really appealing when these other guys aren't on offer and I think I might have to comshuck with a freaky monster. 😉

It doesn't sound wrong, I totally agree. Ethan does have a somethin' somethin'. I mean it's not Giles hot but he's up there y'know? I think it's a mixture of the tallness, the really dark eyes, the brick red shirts and the whole trickster thing. The 'Aren't I great' grin always makes me smile. I think what also appeals to me is the fact he's kinda Giles if he hadn't returned to the good side. The British thing also helps 😀

But vote wise I put Giles, Xander, Angel and Riley. Not too many. Hahah.

Giles- I'm not going to rant about this and I'm pretty sure Palabra has probably already covered my reasons anyway. Although she missed out 'sweetly cute'. I loved it whenever he got all babbly nervous and adorable.

Xander- He always had that sweet, cute, high school boy look. And the first time I watched Buffy when I was...just about 16 I think, I immediately loved him. He was the guy that practically ever girl wanted to come across in High School. He was so sweet, kind, friendly, loyal....and just such a damn cutie.

Angel- He was just openly hot. He's one of those guys that looks hot in live action and printed on page. Add in the fact that Angel was such an old-time sweetie (those old fashioned guys always get me, hehe) added to the cute of the hotness. I loved it in Angel when he punched his way out of the room because he forgot how to use his cell phone! Awww! I think Angel's personality (and David's too really, because he's a nice family guy) added to a lot of it, because whenever he played Angelus I just wasn't attracted. I knew he looked damn good but I just didn't find him attractive if that make sense.

Riley- All-American-Boy just trying to do what's best. And I loved when he went Macho Man Protective, ESPECIALLY when he punched Parker. Plus, Marc Blucas is just so darn good looking in that real 'I came about this naturally and don't even realize how good I look' way.

Lol it's true, that's exactly what Ethan's something is :) Also, I hate to admit this, but further to our conversation on Riley on another board, I've been watching season 4 again- in Doomed he's adorable... I think I'm starting to come around!

Doyle was adorable! and Spike had his moments...I would say though I have seen pictures of Mr. Marsters with a shaven head and dark hair and I DONT like it. He deffinately looks much hotter as a blonde.
 
Got to be Angel/us from seasons 1-3. Lindsay, and Wesley. Wes is actually a very attractive, especially in Season 4/5. He was actually good looking in Season 2 but his hair was a little weird in Season 3, didn't much like it.

Yeah, Wes is actually really attractive. But because he's in the "watcher" role, he gets overshadowed by Giles.
Spike - Well because he just exudes sex appeal! The body and the hair not to mention the cheek bones. DELICIOUS!
Angel - I think he is adorable. I love David because he is so funny and Angel on his own show is pretty funny too.
Wesley - Got to be my favorite. I am a sucker for nerds. I just love em! I loved Wesley on Buffy and then on Angel. I think he is just so adorable! He is such a dork which makes him that much cuter! =)
Groo - I think that Groo is kind of a pretty boy, but I love it. His EYES, I mean look at em so blue and gorgeous! His personality also adds because he is so loyal no matter what which I find endearing. So cute!

I voted for Spike because he's just...well...SEXY, and Xander, because Xander is exactly like my best friend/crush, from the look to the personality, in his high school days. Their smiles are almost identical! And Angelus is way hotter than Angel, haha.

But I guess I'd want Spike for a one night stand and Xander for a relationship. I don't care if they're fictional! xD
 
I voted for Spike because he is the very definition of hot.
Dark Wes was pretty hot too.

Percy was kinda cute, and Ben was nice when he wasn't Glory...
