Buffy Boards used to have a head mod: a lovely, simple-minded soul who used move threads to the right forums, correct typos and rail against trolls. It all became rather too much for him, so we made him Board Consultant to assuage his constant craving for IMPORTANT TITLES and left him to burble away in his quiet corner.
Only now, we need to find him a new home where he can be loved and cherished...nay, adored and revered...not to mention cleaned up a little...well come on, there's only so much of that stinky old guy smell we can take in the staff forums.
We created two shiny new houses where he could live out his golden years in comfort and adoration. The problem we now have is that he is so far into his dotage...his marbles are not so much lost but flung into a far hell dimension...that he is quite incapable of deciding which house he should choose.
So, dear members, what we need from you is something cool, humorous, groovy, tasty or downright awesome to persuade Mr. Pointy (for it is he, in case you weren't paying attention) that he should join your chosen house, or join that terrible, terrible other house *shudder* if you would rather he didn't darken your door. This persuasion could take the form of a story, a cake, a haiku (other poetry forms are available), a video, a song, a piece of artwork...or well anything persuasive (the sky...well, your imagination anyway...is the limit) that might tempt Pointy to opt for a new house (to be fair he's gonna vote for the best looking cakes, cookies or basically anything edible that can be delivered to Pointy Towers after he's had a couple of glasses of wine but the rest of the staff will have a say in it).
The grand prize for this BB competition...oh come on, you didn't really think this was for charity, did you?...will be 500 sparkly new house points plus the absolute delight of seeing Pointy's chubby little face light up as he chooses your house (if you want him) or joins that terrible, terrible other house *shudder* (if you don't want him)...he won't know either way, he'll just be pleased that someone, somewhere wants him...and we'll tell him "worships him" 😉
You may (and are encouraged to) work together as a group in your House forums on your projects. You will have one month from today to submit your projects. Post your submission in the submission thread in the School forum.
