A question about Houses, or more accurately, a bunch of them; can we get to change our houses; re-sorted or something or can be un-do the sorting all together? :smiliehom
 
I would assume that you are sorted, thats it. I mean, the point of the houses are to be a private sanctuary for us all to use, so if you could be re-sorted, then nothing said in them would be house specific, so it could be passed on to other houses


OHH and before anyone comments, i realise the irony in ME saying this!!

Well, as said before, the Houses are just private forums for you to interact with different members that you might not interact with otherwise. If you want to be unsorted, I'm sure that Buffy Summers can do that for you. I don't think the Houses will be dropped in general, because it's a very popular function that's been around for a while.

I hope this helps you out a little. Just request to admin that you want to be removed from the house. I'm sure it's no big deal. 🙂
 
I dont think you can be resorted.... Its kinda like harry potter.... once sorted your stuck you can choose not to interact thats your choice but i dont think you can say hey i dont like this house i wanna be switched to this one... The sorting tome just puts people in houses randomly...
 
Here are what I think arethe relevant rules from the BB School Code of conduct -

2. In order to be sorted into a house, post in the "Sorting Tome" thread and you will be sorted into the appropriate dormitory. Please only post once.

4. Multiple accounts are not allowed. Anyone signing up for additional accounts in order to join multiple dormitories - or because they didn't like the one they got - will at the very least lose School privileges and will face the possibility of banning from the boards.

Taking the above into consideration, I'm guessing that the answers to your questions are "no", "no" and "maybe" but perhaps one of the School Professors could provide a more definitive answer. Just a quick question... I mean: I'm curious. I understand why people would rather be in the Royal House of Drogyn than in Merrick 😛.... but the Houses are great fun in my experience.... why do you want to be un-sorted?

(Course, I understand there may be reasons you don't want to tell publicly why you want to leave your House, but if not, could you maybe tell why?)
 
I don't see how people can even comment if they never even been in Merrick. Just because one person who I've never even seen participate wants to leave doesn't mean that our house is no good.We know we're great and that is all that matters.

PS. I'm sure all the other houses are good too. I'm not trying to start anything.

But seriously though, I didn't even know you were a member of Merrick until now........you didn't even let yourself be known. I didn't even know you were a member of BB actually............

To Allycat and doppelgänger; I want to be un-sorted because I was not sorted, the people who posted after me were all sorted but my name didn't pass so I figured I wasn't sorted and took a liberty to post there but my post was deleted and no one explained me why I was not sorted though I seemed to be sorted, so I want to be un-sorted and try again or whatever. I have no problem whatsoever with the group or its headmaster and I hope I made that clear.

Well, if you're in a house, you must have gotten sorted somehow. 😉 They probably just forgot to write your name down, or something like that. It's really no big deal. It would be kind of pointless to be un-sorted and then re-sorted again, since it doesn't matter which house you're in.

You can't switch houses, which is why you were put back in Merrick again. Your other posts were deleted, as I told you via pm, because as it says in the first post we want to keep that thread just with the posts asking to be sorted, not a bunch of other comments.
 
Angels baby101 agrees: probley happened since Buffy had already said in another thread that you asked for your account to be deleted and then reregistered you were probley already sorted so she put you in the same house therefore no need to be resorted..same ip address.

I am in a school library, hence the same ip.
