Housework music!

So, I'm sitting here trying to work out what music to listen to today while doing the housework to keep me going. Today's choice is War of the Worlds the musical version. What's your selection of housework music? DO you mix it up or stay to the same music?
 
Music gives me a lot of energy to do boring tasks, so I definitely like listening to loud music during chores. Unfortunately for my neighbours I have a setup that would suit a nightclub rather than a house. Dad's a sound engineer, blame him.

Recently I've been listening to a lot of MIA. She's amazing.
 
I listen to music or a podcast while doing housework; it's nice to have something to make it a little more interesting. What I listen to varies a lot and is totally dependent on my mood. Lately I've been listening to a lot of true crime podcasts rather than music.
 
Nix, I agree whole heartedly with your decision to listen to The War of the Worlds but do you mean the CD or the DVD?

Any good true crime podcasts to recommend? I love them.

I mix it up when it comes to music and housework, typically though I'll try to find something rather upbeat. Or, often, I'll end up with a podcast. Usually about politics 🙂
 
Recently I've become a podcast person too. I'm catching up on Dusted at the moment, but will listen to pretty much anything. Although I must say I don't do much housework because it bores me and I tend to listen when walking the dog or driving

Lately I've been enjoying Criminal, My Favorite Murder and Real Crime Profile. I've heard good things about Sword and Scale as well as In The Dark, but haven't started listening. Serial season 1 was fascinating; but I wouldn't be surprised if you've already listened to that.

I have been considering the real true crimes closer to home or here. One that concerns me is the apparent honesty of those who claim the intelligence of the Sineyan Dogs against our cutie kittens in Black Thorn.
 
The piglet is usually napping when I'm doing housework so I just listen to my brain repeating the same song from Brave over and over again while I clean jam off everything.
 
Housework!? Is that something I'm supposed to do?

But no, I don't listen to anything special.
It's the same old, same old, whatever I do.

I try to avoid housework wherever possible, but if I must I usually just stick the radio on and flick through stations until I find something I like.....

I'm so jealous! I've been setting up the TV and the speakers in my place and it's a real pain when you're just guessing. Also not helped by my partner frowning about too much tech.
