How did Faith get in SD High?

Only in my every fantasy since watching the show. 😀


Come to think of it, why was Wes allowed to chaperone the prom? He wasn't on staff as far as I knew. Just a random, thirty something roaming the campus staking (no pun intended) the cheerleaders. That's totally safe, not considering the unspeakable evil that pours out of the foundations every few months. 😀

LOL Yeah, I could see no one noticing that Faith was at Homecoming, because she COULD have been someone's date, but Wesley chaperoning prom when he wasn't faculty always struck me as really strange, considering my school didn't let anyone chaperone if they weren't faculty, and you had to get approval for people who didn't go to our school to be your date... Hmmm... Maybe my school was just crazy anal? 😉

I always assumed that Sunnydale High was such a large school that to the students, teachers and Snyder that Faith was just another student. She was around the same age and blended in... fairly well despite her taste in clothing. As for Wesley I always thought The Watchers Council had placed him as Giles "assistant" or to at least be a librarian but I guess they didn't have time to delve in to all that too much.

If Jonathan can get a rifle up to the tower, the swim team can be mermonsters, and bodies in lockers are not unheard of, career day police officers go in shooting sprees, who's to say a school aged student who is not a student is unheard of?

Snyder runs a loose ship, no one takes him too seriously. The only reason why he was hard on Buffy is that I believe the mayor made him use that leverage. Once Joyce knew Snyder was a butt monkey...even before she realized Buffy was the slayer...Snyder lost his clout.

So why Faith running around? Whats Snyder going to do, call her mom? I bet she'd shove him in a locker!

As far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong - but I don't believe Faith was EVER enrolled at Sunnydale high..was she? I remember her coming in to get Buffy to skip class to hang out with her, and I remember Faith being around often in the library for scoobie meetings and the like...but do we ever see her in class? I haven't re-watched season 3 in a while, so...I might have forgotten.

Faith got into the high school whenever she wanted the same way anybody got in anywhere in Sunnydale. From "Welcome To The Hellmouth" to "Chosen," nobody in the entire town seemed to ever lock up anything. The museum, the Bronze, any store or shop, and certainly the school, and even a vineyard with a storage building stocked with enough wine to float a battleship. There must be either the most careless or most stupid people in the world living in that little town. If nobody ever takes note of all of their neighbors dying from extreme blood loss one night, and the next night knocking on their door and asking to come in for a snack, why would they notice one teen aged girl wandering the halls of the local high school?

Good point. I think Sunnydale really envokes that stereotypical small town mentality...you know, that no on locks their doors and everyone knows thier neighbors. Which, of course, makes Sunnydale all the more ironic.
