I don't understand...or atleast point me in the direction of the thread that answers this..but why..and how did the amulet get back to Angel..and bring back spike?

I think at the time I thought it was Lindsay, but thinking about it now, that doesnt work. Hmm, senior partners?

From the collasped Hellmouth? The same way anybody else would have to get it. Through magic, and we know that Lindsey had picked up a few tricks or two.

I mean, he could have actually went to the Hellmouth and used a locater spell to specifically pinpoint it. Or he could have used something similar to the spell Anya tried to get her vengeance pendant back.

I don't see much reason why it couldn't be Lindsey. In fact I didn't realise there was doubt.

Like I said, I already thought it was Lindsay anyway. I just couldnt figure out how he could do it. How would he know to look for it?

How did Angel get it the first time? I cant remember.

See thats where its odd for me, not that Lindsay got it.
I mean Lilah gives Angel the amulet because the SP's want him to have it, then however many days later(19 was it?) its back on Angels desk, being sent from Lindsay.
Its the timing thats a bit off, not the who sent what to where, thats pretty much expained by who, and Fivers reasons are the most accurate plausibly that its a magic detector.

Question is how did Lindsay know of it..?
Only Lilah seemed to know as she gave it to him....hmmmm
Over to....you guys..

About only Lilah knowing... I don't think that's entirely true. Partly yes. Wolfram and Hart knew what was going on in Sunnydale, heard of Spike (the other vampire with a soul) and wanted to have him in action too. The problem with Lindsay is that everyone assumed that he was out of the game. But as Lilah had said to Wesley, the contract with W&H is a "beyond a death contract and no one can walk away fom it". That means Lindsay's walk away was bogus. He couldn't get away from them and served them by getting the amulet from Sunnydale.

I'm just this side of positive Angel mentions Lindsey bringing back Spike on at least a couple of occasions. My impression was Lindsey saught to disrupt Angel's authority, and in this way get into favour with the Circle of blackthorn.

I always thought it was a bit of a cop-out not to go into more detail on it, but I'm almost positive it's there in black and white somewhere.

Thats a good point. Eve would know about the amulet and she could have told Lindsay.

I haven't seen season five for awhile, but how did Lilah know about the amulet and that Spike was in it? I just read in this thread that she knew, and I'm now confused, lol.

Lilah gave the amulet to Angel, when he took over W&H. She told him to give it to Buffy for the upcoming fight. She had no idea about Spike (I don't think). I think she was just pretty much a messenger for the Senior Partners at the time.

some things will never be explained. They never saw specifically who brought it, or how they knew about it. All they know, is that it's there. They, for whatever reasons, didn't say who sent it. It's obvioussly not important.
