Anybody remember in the Season 4 finale "Home" when they were being toured Wolfram & Hart by Lilah and her fellow associates, there was a former Watcher who joined Wolfram & hart that Wesley had knocked out. How do you think when a Watcher joined Wolfram & Hart?

Why did The Watchers Council only shown concern about the Hell Mouth? What about Wolfram And Hart, The Circle Of The Black Thorn, Jasmine etc.

Wasn't the Watcher's Council blown up at that time? And you could see in the following season what they thought when they sent Wes' "father" there.

The Council's already bombed to pieces.

The remaining is refugees without real power.

I know, but that Watcher was in Wolfram and Hart before those events took place. So I've always wondered how they felt the need to kill Faith in Season 4 and AtS Season 1 but they never cared about one of their own joining the biggest demonic law firm in Los Angeles

He was a former watcher though. I dont think they much care about former watchers. That's the reason Post could do what she did, because she was a former watcher. I dont think they pay attention to them at all. Wes caused a lot of mischief himself and it never seemed to bother the council (or at least enough to do anything about it).

Frankly, I think the Watchers Council would be too scared to go up against Wolfram & Hart. Whatever the WC can do (magic, bureaucracy, special ops, etc), W&H can do better. Better and safer (and also more realistic) for the WC to simply focus on vampires and the Slayer (with the odd apocalypse) rather than taking on battles they can't win.

I also think that if an ex-Watcher joined W&H and then left W&H to apply to rejoin the WC, they'd love to take him back to get at the secrets that law firm knows, and of the law firm itself (don't know if they'd dare to).
