ok i was just watching season 7 on FX and they were showing the ep where buffy first kills that ubervamp thing. They're all sitting in the dining room and then buffy calls to willow, well, telepathically kinda? I mean i guess willow could've done that but i didn't know buffy had that abiltiy, does anyone know how she did that?
 
I think that Willow can telepathically communitcate as well as hearing thoughts if they are directed at her if ya know what I mean
 
But wasn't it Buffy got communicated with Willow first?

Maybe Willow did a spell so shes, Buff and Xander could talk like that 😉
 
I agree with Joan, Willow (being magically inclined and all) is probably able to hear thoughts if the person thinking the thoughts intends for her to hear them.
 
ok that makes sense..so you think she can hear everyones thoughts? or only if they want her too?
 
I think she magically linked them telepathically, so that they could talk without letting the potentials know. Some type of spell she did.

Yea, but Buffy can also hear Willow, and Xander too, so Willow must have done some spell, so it's not just Willow being magically inclined that caused it IMO.

But whatever it was, it was pretty cool...!
 
I think that Buffy directed her thoughts to Willow, then Willow linked all of them together, but the whole thing was initiated by Buffy.

Also, I'm sure that Willow, being as powerful as she is, would be able to hone in on almost anyone's thoughts if she wanted to , she just doesn't.
 
I agree with Kindred. Buffy directed her thoughts to Willow and Willow heard them, then she opened a channel between the three of them. I don't think Willow needed a spell to link them, I think she just opened their minds to each other.
 
I always thought that Buffy connected to Willow, and Willow being supernatural was able to hear her....then whatever Buffy says, Willow told Xander, and what Xander said, Willow told Buffy...but Kindred, I guess your right, lol....stupid me.....
