How did Uber vamps survive

I was just thinking how did ubervamps survive in hell with no food or anything, maybe ubervamps are what happens to vamps when they dont eat for centuries, they did kinda of look like skeletons and spike said thats what happens to vampires who dont eat

yeah and how did the first get them into the hellmouth with out anyone knowing. They do stick out you know.

The Hellmouth is the mouth to hell, as in the portal to hell.Unfortunatley we didn't get to see the entire hellmotuh.The First didn't put the ubies there.They were already in hell.

I'm thinking that just below the seal isn't where the Ubers lived..I think that's where they were gathering in preperation for the attack. They probably lived in some hell dimension somewhere.

well when Akasha and...ahh oops wrong vampire mythology...

I think they didn't particularly live under the seal but rather in Hell. There are many types of demons in Hell and perhaps they fed on those other demons. Perhaps since they were more pure blood that other vamps they didn't need to feed as much. I don't actually ever recall seeing the ubervamps feed rather just kill. I really liked the ubervamp character. It had gotten a lil too easy for Buffy to kick ass and the ubervamp changed all that.

yeah but in the end even anya, dawn, xander and maybe andrew could kill them and they dont have any active powers

The Uber-vamps were out in the daylight which probally made them weaker so Zander and company could kill them by luck.

guys the hellmouth is a gate to not one dimension, but several, the ubervamps could have come from either one of the dimensions leading to the hellmouth and assembled there for the first.
