I thought this was an even better episode than Wild At Heart. It's one of my fav eps of season 4. What I really liked is the parallel storylines: Willow had to make a choice, so did Riley. Willow had to tell the truth (who she really loved), and so did Buffy (telling Riley about Angel). I loved that Riley tried to rescue Oz, proving that he finally understood that the monster/human dichotomy is not so black & white.
OZ: It was stupid to think that you'd just be... waiting.
WILLOW: I was waiting. I feel like some part of me will always be waiting
for you. Like if I'm old and blue-haired, and I turn the corner in Istanbul
and there you are, I won't be surprised. Because... you're with me, you know?
OZ: I know. (Pause) But now is not that time, I guess.
WILLOWshakes her head) No.
OMG, did you guys not cry your eyes out at that? Beautiful dialogue. Of course, when Willow cries, so goes my nation. Can't help it.
And the idea of Veruca for an entire season- I'd tear my eyes out I'm sure. I'm sooo glad they decided NOT to do that! Although yeah, Oz definitely should've gone to LA with AI.
Funny random lines: Anya- "Slap my hand now!" and
Spike: The door was unlocked. You might want to watch that, Rupert. Someone dangerous could get in.
Buffy: Or, someone formerly dangerous and currently annoying
