How Did You Find Buffy-Boards?

Just because I'm curious...

How did you discover these boards? Was it a search engine? Did a friend recommend them? Have you used other Buffy/Angel related boards? What made you decide to register at this one?
 
To be honest... I can't remember... did BB Come about after the fall of Buffyuk.org?!?! I know Tangeant21 did but wow... I was around when the first management was about, Faithers and Willow took me under their wing and then Angel and Cordelia came along too... then Buffy.... *sniffles* We're like one big incestuous family.... 🙂

Nope we have nothing to do with BUK or T21, well apart from me being a member of them.

Here's the quick re-cap. Matt the original owner of charmed-boards made this site along with the help of Cordelia and Angel. I discovered the site via a link on the charmed-boards site where I lurked. I started posting like mad, not spam mad but discussion posts. I was asked to be a mod, and then a little while later Matt decided not to continue so myself and some others on the mod team helped out and became admin. At the time I had been chatting to Buffy Summers in some threads, as we had things in common. After talking to the others we invited her on staff and never looked back.

Then Cordelia, Angel, Buffy and myself left to form After-Darkness (not sure if any of you will remember that) and then by some fate we all ended up back at Buffy Boards. Its been a good couple of years that we've been working together now.

And yes we took TFE in, but back then he was 'Space Duck' and talking in the third person....we soon got that out of him.
 
I can't remember..But I think I saw it in Top 100 Buffyverse's Websites..I guess I was v.lucky as I have not seen BB on that list ever again..

I just surfed on in! I'd had a really boring day at work and spent the entire day searching Buffy sites...well I saw this one and said "I HAVE to belong to this!" It just blew me away, so friendly and professional and interesting, I was hooked! And it's the only one I joined! 🙂
 
I think I found it through a Google search. I looked through the boards for about 5 minutes then registered!!

You did it... you.... you fiddled about up there, tinkered with me brain, made me change my Forum name to TFE when you knew I loved the other name better... and... you kidnapped me!!! Brought me here... I had family... I had Friends... ::nono:: well I had family... :: tu ::

But we're all the more better fer being part of this place 🙂

I just kinda stumbled across this site about two months ago while searching for Buffy stuff. I became rather addicted. I wish I had found it sooner though.
 
For me it was luck of the draw. I wanted a Buffy Board so I just tryed typing 'buffy-boards.com' at the top bar and here I am 😉
 
well i joined Roswell Boards and i dont remember if they had a link to here but i just tryed the url because the roswell baords was

roswell-boards.com/

so i just typed buffy-boards.com and it worked 🙂 so pure luck is my way here

We would have had a link, as we ran Roswell-Boards too 🙂
 
this was before the whole side bar design but i dont think that roswell boards actally had a side bar. not that i can remember you did have that cool set out but i dont remember links apart from at the bottom of the page in the footer but that was after i joined.
 
Rayne had just convinced me to watch the first season of Buffy (which I became addicted to within the first few epps) and she was always going on about this and that on the Buffy Board. She sounded like she really wanted me to check it out, but she felt maybe I should finish watching Buffy first! Well, one day I surprised her and joined-I started posting right away. There was lots of interesting things to post about and a ton of friendly and fun people!
