How Did you Get Your Name?

The name I'm called was just a popular name at the time so nothing strange there. More kind of boring. My other name is from both my grandfathers. Nothing spectacular or "funny" at all.

HAHA at the comment above me. And I love your name, for maybe obvious reasons :D
My first name was chosen because my mam was reading a Stephen King book at the time... might have been The Tommyknockers? I forget. Anyway she saw the name Rebecca and liked it. And my dad wanted me to have the same initials as him. My middle name is Lynn because of my auntie Lynn and it also fit the initials thing.

Although for the first week of my life I was called Gabriella!

My grandfather was called David Mansel, but everybody knew him by his second name. My mom wanted something welsh, either Gareth or David and my father realised that "Gareth" isn't really pronounceable by italian people 😀
I really like my name, also I don't know any other David! 😀

Fun fact: my other grandfather's name is Angelo, and that is Angel in english 😛 luckily I didn't get his name, it's kinda weird and old.

Awww, I would've loved if your name was Angelo! The italian version of Angel! So much win!
I was named after my great grandmother, Juliette.
My second name, Alexandra is my godmother's name and my third name Andrée is a female version of my grandfather's name.

I'm named Mikaela, which was a pretty popular name in the 80's. I talked to my mum about this just the other day and she said she wanted to name me Kelly but my dad had objected a lot. 😀 He must've budged though, 'cause that's what's my littlesister is called 😀

My middle names are Cecilia and Diana. Cecilia has been the middle name of all the girls in my family and if I have a daughter I'll continue that tradition. 🙂 I think it's a beatiful name. And Diana is after princess Diana who my mother loved. 🙂

my middle name... another bloody princess name! Lol :)
My mum picked my name just because she liked it. On my birth certificate my name is Julie-Anne but almost straight away they dropped the Anne because when people were asking my parents what they'd had and what had they called me, a lot of people misheard and thought that I was named Julian which was a bit strange for a girl 🙂
