How did you react when James shaved his hair?

I know it was years ago, but it's still fresh in my memory (okay, from the video I saw on youtube). James has decided to shave all of his Spikey blonde hair on live. I remember that I was pretty upset about it. I know he was in pain because of all the bleaching, and I did feel for him. But saying goodbye to his Spike hair it's like saying goodbye to Spike. I almost cried, seriously. But afterwards, I thought it looked okay. Still handsome. Not that bad. Although I wish he'd kept the blonde.

What were your thought about James shaving his hair and his new shaved head?
 
It's not shaved now, it's sorta curly. Well, it was the last time I saw him, lol.

I was actually really glad when he shaved it off. He was in pain from the bleach, and his hair was very damaged, so shaving it was the only way to give his hair a chance to regain its health.

I know everyone complains because that meant he wasn't Spike anymore, but the shows were over, with no real chance of returning in the near future. And I'd think that the bleached look would have put people off when they were looking to cast someone.

I pretty much thought - oh that looks totally weird. Where's Spike? 😉
Then I thought - man he must be thrilled not to have to bleach it anymore, it's such a hassle.
 
Well I saw it in pictures and videos and stuff because I wasn't a fan then... but I thought "oh wow, he even looks good with almost no hair."
 
As much as I love Spike with the blonde hair, he's just a character. As a man, James with a shaved head is so incredible. Just... yum. 😀
 
When I first heard what he was intending to do I nearly passed out (just kidding) but when I saw how he looked afterwards I was okay with it, although I think his natural curls flatter his features a lot more somehow.

LOL Same here... I watched him shaving it and was like "He looks so weird!" 🙂
Even though I've seen him with brown hair a lot, it always makes me feel like "Whoa, that's not natural." LOL
