How do I deal with this one?

Did he have the knife in school, because in most schools these days that can get a kid suspended. Maybe if he gets reported to the principal someone can get this kid some help.

My friends and I are making up a plan to take things into our own hands! Look for me on Cops!

It's the only thing we can do now. And I'm not going to let the basterd hurt her again. I'm just not gunna sit here.

Parker.. the fact that this idiot had a knife is serious. He's carrying a concealed weapon and that's an arrestable offence isn't it?.

Someone needs to talk to this person pronto. Preferably an adult, for example a teacher or a counsellor or the principal at school. This guy is dangerous and i think your sister is starting to realise this now which is why she's scared and he has no right to make her feel like that. Who the hell does he think he is?

Another thing your sister needs is more self esteem. She's scared of this person and he knows it and probably plays upon it. If he threatens to cut himself or worse, she should walk away. She shouldn't have to feel responsible for him. It's like a kid having a tantrum, walk away and the tantrum stops. Not that i'm saying that's what he's doing, but he's getting the attention from your sister and that's what he's feeding off. It's also called control. Your sister is too young to be dealing with that and it sounds like her mental health is starting to suffer.

Tell a teacher, a counsellor or the principal, the fact the moron had a knife and was prepared to use it means that he's way beyond help now.

She has enough self esteem. She's a cheerleader and more popular than me, and she does well in all her classes. She's gone without a boyfriend for a while, so, it's not like she thinks she has to be in a relationship to be a girl or something.

He's pretty f'ed up. I've already told teachers, councelers, parents, family members, everyone, but no one seems to do anything about it. Yesterday we were freaking out because they both were 30 minutes late for lunch and we all said we were scared because "he did something to her".

I just don't understand why she doesn't walk away.

Exactly Jacklyn.

The fact that she's still getting involved with him and allowing him to do what he's doing means that she really doesn't have all that much good self esteem. If she did, she'd have told him in no uncertain terms to keep the hell away from her and meant it.

And regarding teachers, counsellors... you have to keep at it until someone finally does listen, perservere with it. As a last resort go and talk to a police officer, they have to listen. Keep trying.

Well, ultimately, violence is the answer. But the police are 3000 times more equipped to apply violence than you are, if it is necessary, and they are a better judge of just how much to apply. It's their job.

Secondly, it isn't about you, it's about your sister. There's no need to personally attack the guy, since this isn't about revenge. It is about her. And she's going to REALLY be mad at you if you beat the guy up, since that makes this jerk a victim, which is more than he deserves.

Thirdly, tell the authorities (counselor, police etc), and THEN tell your sister that you did so. Tell her why you did it, and that it's because you are worried about her. If she wants to hate you, at least she'll be hating you for the right reason. And later on, in a few years, she'll realize she doesn't have a right to be mad at you for that. Heck, someday she's probably going to be really thankful you helped her; once she's older, and it's all in the past.

I know it's easier to say all this from the outside, but there you have it.

I know being popular doesn't have to do with self esteem. Um. How to explain it... um... I've known her for so many years (remember she is half sister so there was a point in my life when she wasn't around) and she seems to have a lot of self esteem. I was just trying to say that by saying some things she does.

I'm not trying to make it about me, but I'm getting angry that she isn't listening and no one is listening to me. You know? She's my baby sister. So what if it's only by 3 months.

Hitting him would be justice in my eyes though... but we're also talking about me who is a crazed teenager and not an adult yet.

Do you think he would actually back off if you beat him up? I mean, judging by what you know of him?

Im not denying that it would be fun, or feel good, but would it work?

No. Probably not. Like you said before, she'd probably get mad at me for making him the victim. I can dream can't I?

HE HIT ME TODAY!

She's slowly coming around to normal thinking. He tries to make out with her all the time, 24/7 against her will. Now she is beginning to make up excuses, but today during lunch he was holding her down and I started poking her so she'd know I wanted to talk and thus couldn't be harrassed by him because he'd have to get through me. So, we're talking and he goes "don't get her pissed, or she'll hit you, like this" and he punches me as hard as he can and I'm like "ow!" but I didn't let him know he actually hurt me, cuz I'm weird like that. I turn over to Stephanie (Tru_Davies on the board) and she's giving me the 'don't hit him back' look. Took a lot of self control not to murder him.

Can I say, without being offensive, that Tru_Davies is one STUPID girl?

She shouldn't get your friends in trouble like over some jerk-off boyfriend? You need to get your priorities straighted out!

Tru_Davies didn't do anything.

and helping my sister with a problem isn't a priority?

Isnt tru davies the harrased girl? Who, when you tried to help her let you get hit? I meant she should get her priorities straighted.

No, you got it all wrong. My half sister is the one who is being harrassed, and my friend Tru Davies was the one that kept me from kicking his ass.

Oh I see, well still think you should've. It sounds like the world'd be better off without him.

Yeah, I know, but I can't... well... actually I could have... my parents have this wacked rule that if they hit me first, I'm aloud to beat the crap out of them. Damn. Missed my chance.
