How do you change your avatars?

Under User CP, scroll down to settings and options and there's a choice for editing your avatar

Okay well I mean upload one of my own and not use one from the site...
 
Personal avatars are a perk for board staff and prefects, regular member cannot upload their own.

There is no need for you to be rude about it. It is not a very functional option for a board this size and there are plenty of pre-made avatars for you to choose from.
