How do you watch Buffy/Angel?

How do you watch it? Do you watch it on DVD? Do you watch it on TV? Online? VHS?

Do you get cozy in your bed or couch while you watch it with a bowl of popcorn, or catch an episode before work, or do you play it in the background while you're doing something else?

I'd love to know how you guys watch it. 🙂
 
It's been years since I've seen it on tv, so I rely only on my DVD. When it was on tv, I used to prepare myself about a hour before. No popcorn, but other things.

Today I usually press play and have it on the background, or writing or using the computer while watching it. Not only Buffy though, I usually have something in my DVD player while doing other stuff.
 
I usually watch it online or on my PC, just before I'm going to bed. I don't know why but I can only do that with Buffy (or Glee, because I got so used to watching it when it aired in America), Angel is more of a teatime show. I think it's too dark for me to relax enough in order to get some sleep.
 
I watch Buffy on DVD; I curl up on the sofa and watch it, whilst eating sweets. Sometimes I'll have it on in the background, if I'm busy or I just need something to entertain me whilst doing work.

I also watch it on my computer, but it's rare, as I always end up getting distracted; with Twitter, Facebook or a game. I can never concentrate on an episode properly if I watch it on my computer, which is why I always watch it downstairs in the living room.
 
Usually watch the DVD's these days. Curl up in the living room if I want to relax.

Or I put it on in the background while I work on some art projects. Was actually just thinking of popping in some season 7 while I work on this Spuffy woodburning. That's how I watch it the most I guess. While I'm working on projects.
 
It depends. Sometimes I watch the whole series from episode one, sometimes I watch it on Netflix. It depends on where I am. At home, I watch it on DVD, usually in my living room. Sometimes in my bedroom. At Gramma's I watch it in my room on Netflix, usually with chips. 🙂
 
Netflix. I don't have all of the seasons on DVD, just season 6, and I prefer watching on Netflix because it's easier and more convenient. I don't have to look for the right disk and put it in and go through this whole menu... I just go to the Buffy page, click the season, click the episode and BOOM! It was already easy, and got easier when Netflix changed how they do TV shows. Although when I watch with my mom, I watch on the TV because she doesn't like watching things on the computer. In that case, the Teen Nick starting from the beginning airing the show was the best thing they could have done. Especially now when the summer's started.

I KNOW! I'm so excited for them to do Freaks and Geeks! I'm so excited to get new people joining websites like this for Buffy saying "I watched on Teen Nick and it was AWESOME!" 🙂

I have all the Buffy seasons on DVD, so I watch them mostly on there. I do tend to watch them on TV if I happen to catch them on.

I am watching AtS for the first time on Netflix.

Most of the time I hunker down on the couch with something to drink, a snack, and my hubby's laptop so I can post here while I watch. Other times I crochet while I watch.
 
It depends on the episode, if there's an episode on tv that I want to watch then I'll watch that. Otherwise it's either on dvd or vhs if it's dvd then usually lying on my bed if it's on vhs then its downstairs.
 
When I did my big Buffy/Angel rewatch last year I usually waited till the kids went to bed (so little distractions!) & watched it via Netflix on our big screen TV (no Netflix in the bedroom and I usually don't watch on the computer). Typically while doing laundry, paying bills, or doing work-related paperwork (the mother in me can't simply watch TV without feeling guilty!). I have the BTVS DVDs now so I can watch in either room, and if it's on TV (LOGO, Chiller, TeenNick), I'll watch it while doing whatever! I do sometimes watch eps on my iPhone as well, either while working out or eating lunch at work.
 
I have both shows on DVD, but usually when I watch Buffy I just keep it on in the background while I'm doing something else. I do that with all the shows I have.
 
I have all the Buffy/Angel dvds, so usually on my dvd player, however, sometimes (like now) I feel the urge to snuggle up in bed with a glass of wine and watch it on my laptop 😀
 
DVD... I have all Buffy seasons and so far, the first season of angel (this is my first time seeing that show... On episode 6 of season 1 so far). I had seen random episodes of Buffy before on tv but now that I've gotten so addicted I like to watch on DVD. Also I can't be doing anything else while I'm watching, including having any side conversations. I like it to become my world when it's on...though I do get the mom guilt thing about watching tv...I think that my kids watch with me helps with that.
 
On dvd, whole rewatches at a time unless something specific happens to make me watch a single episode but that's rare. Have mixed feelings about watching both shows as they aired. The way it should be watched and when episodes go together it's great but I get a better flow if I watch one show at a time. I don't mind watching Buffy season 1-3, Angel season 1-5 to finish with the last seasons of Buffy.
 
I watch BtVS three ways:

On my iPad during mid-day treadmill workouts.

On DVD in the evenings and on weekends.

Clips. I have about a thousand of my favorite scenes clipped to my computer, and I play them in an endless, random loop on my secondary computer whenever I'm doing anything on my primary computer (email, Facebook, Twitter, surf the net). I love watching good stuff over and over again and never get tired of it. One of my favorite scenes - I've probably watched it fifty times - is Buffy's speech to Travers and the other Council members in Checkpoint.

I only watch AtS on DVD because I'm watching that with my husband.
