I usually watch whatever episode I'm in the mood for. But, I am also watching the whole show with a friend who hasn't seen it before, so obviously we watch it in the right order. We're on season three right now...
 
A bit of both. But now I'm in process of watching in order, from first episode to the 144th. Then, continue with Ats. But between that, I can't resist to pick OMWF, Sanctuary, Smile Time, Chosen, The Girl In Question, Pylea episodes to watch.
 
Gosh, I've watched Buffy all the way through a couple of times (but never in order apart from when it first came out). When I watched it all the way through the few times I would start at a random Season, watch all the way through to the end, then get to the end and start on Season 1. I love going that way because it just really shows how much the characters have changed! I think the closest I came to watching it the entire way through in order (after it came out), was watching half of Season 5 and then starting again at Season 1 and going the entire way through.

I have probably seen every episode of Buffy between 6-15 times. Just before I joined Buffy Boards I watched every single episode (each season at a time), probably about 3 or 4 times within about 9 months!

Now I just tend to watch episodes that take my fancy on a whim. Generally final episodes or stand out ones like Restless, OMWF, Hush, and Band Candy (Giles perve action hellllloooo).

Well I haven't seen Buffy all the way through in absolute years so I'm currently buying all the seasons and watching them again all in order. I've just finished watching season 3 but can't watch season 4 until I can afford to buy it which sucks. But back when I was little I watched all the seasons in different order from watching them on TV back when it used to air on channel 4 and also renting the seasons from block buster and buying them on VHS. It's very strange because whilst watching season I felt like I'd never seen some of the episodes! I'm starting to doubt whether I saw them all when I was younger now.
 
I had the same feeling as you hyper when I watched Buffy all the way through the second time! There were definitely a few episodes that I had missed, and a few that I think I had forgotten all about (a lot of the boring ones), but there were also episodes that I had seen a couple of times on TV that had scenes that I must have somehow missed both times I watched it. (Must have been straight after a commercial as I usually get up to go to the loo or make a cup of tea)
 
I always watch Buffy straight through, from season 1 to 7, without skipping any episodes. But, I do tend to multitask while watching some of the episodes. :tongue: The entire process takes me about a week and I like repeating it two, three times a year. Buffy is like my safety blanket, lol :blush:
Though, I do watch OMWF whenever I feel like it. That episode is really special to me. 🙂

I sometimes multi-task whle watching Buffy as well; mainly looking up Buffy things on eBay or somesuch though..
I've had a very boring week, so I'm starting the series over again. Beginning to end. With Angel corresponding from season 4. I'll post unrealistic parts again. Soon. 😀
 
I pick and choose mostly but at the moment I'm doing a complete re-watch - I'm nearly finished season three. It's funny how you can have a different reaction each time you watch it; I haven't watched season three for about a year, and to be honest, I'm finding it a bit slow this time. It's still good but the overall story arc lacks a little pace. And man, was I icked by the Willow/Xander fling thing.

Usually I watch selected eps from the later series - Fool for love, OMWF and Tabula Rasa would be my most watched.
 
Ill usually watch it all the way through then watch random episodes or maybe a season then watch it all the way through again(i have too much time on my hands). And sometimes ill just put OMWF on repeat and fall asleep well that is until the yesterday when i bought the soundtrack finally.

I watch whatever episode i feel like. I find it so awkward watching the early seasons, so usually I don't watch season 1 or 2. I wish i could sit there and watch season one to season seven, but i get too bored. And there are those few episodes I just hate cause something happens in them that just pi$$es me off.
I've watched a handfull of episodes like 20 times, and some I've only watched once. The only season I've managed to watch all the way through for the second time was Season Three, cause there's not too much....you know those moments that make you go *gargh*
 
Frequently I usually go from season to season, episode to episode, but there are times when I find myself in the mood to watch certain episodes, when I get an urge to watch one in particular, you know, the ones you really love kinda of deal.
 
I usually watch my favorites here and there for fun or if I need to check for a reference, but I re-watch the entire show, including crossovers with AtS, every summer.

I totally know what you mean. I never get sick of Tabula Rasa, Pangs, OMWF, Passion...in fact, I have quite a few on my mobile phone to watch whenever (as well as like 45 fan vids 😉
 
I watch an episode now and again, Or a specific arc, or a full season. Any time i watch a few episodes it puts me in the mood to watch the rest of the season.
 
I pretty much watch them as and when. I'm doing the BBtv rewatch so that'll be cool but there's some eps I've been meaning to watch for a while.

When I still had VHS boxsets the 5th tape of season 3 must have been the most nackered out of them all! 😀
 
I almost always just skip around, unless I'm introducing someone to Buffy. Then we watch it all the way through.

Like currently, for instance...I'm introducing my friend to Buffy, and every day at noon we come back to my house in between classes to watch two episodes at a time. We're already up to Season 4. 🙂
 
I'm another person who just kind of skips around, picking and choosing episodes randomly. When I got into the series it was in its last season, and I just watched reruns every night on SPACE (think it went season 7 then I watched 1-7 again).

Now I watch the show because I'm in the mood to watch a certain episode (or few episodes, as the case may be). Sometimes if I'm doing a banner or something too, I'll just rewatch the scene I'm basing it on a few times for some inspiration. So even then, I can flip through four or five episodes just to find one scene that I'm looking for.
 
I almost did some skipping around the other day--I was thinking of watching "The Wish", but it just felt a little strange to me. It's not that it really matters how you watch the show, but I'm so used to watching it all the way through. Hm. Anyway, I ended up continuing with Angel season 1 ("The Bachelor Party"--in my top 3 for that season).
 
I make myself a cuppa and i wacth it every friday with the family because my family or Buffyholic,lol i Start from season 1 to season 7 and then start it all again.I am up to season 3 .This friday i be wacthing ANN, i wacth four episode each friday night.Next friday it by disc two then so on to the end ...lol ;😉
I never get bored of Buffy thats one thing i can say about Buffy its still refreshing ,charming , and hairlarious...😉!
 
Meh.. I keep wanting to re-watch the whole thing (and now that I'm talking about it, I'm really getting into this mood where I want to really bad! Maybe after I'm done with HIMYM S4), but usually I just pick a random episode to watch. :/
