Heya! I got into the series a couple of years ago, I'm from the UK and remember watching the odd episode while the show was airing, but was too young to appreciate it at the time. I've recently started listening to a few recap podcasts, if you have any recommendations on that front they'd be more than welcome.

Welcome, great to have you here but I have to say I definitely reccomend watching both Buffy and Angel from the beginning, there are plenty of cross-over order guides to keep things in line and you will really enjoy it, it may take a while with a total of 12 seasons and 254 episodes among them but it's definitely worth it.
 
Thanks for the welcome guys. Sorry Spook, I didn't explain myself very well. I've watched Buffy, from start to finish, a couple of times. Not sure if I should admit this here, but I'm not the biggest fan of Angel. I only got about halfway through the 1st Season.

It gets a lot better as it goes on. (There's a couple of horrendous episodes in season one)
