*I Hope This Is Ok To Ask/Post!*

Today My Family and I Were Talking About The Fastest We've Driven In Our Car(s) In My Family My Stepdad Is The One Who Has Drove Really Fast (109 mph, I Attached A Pic) & He's Been Caught Several Times Also...The Fastest I've Driven is 90 mph....

How Fast Have You Driven In Your Car??

The fastest I've driven is ~80 mph on the highway. I try to remain lower than that, though.

Same with me. I think highest I've gone is on the highway at 80mph
Speeding really ain't cool.

The fastest I've ever driven is about 100mph, but that was on a motorway in the middle of the night so there were no other cars on the road, and I'd slept in the day so I wasn't tired.

Uhm... I've been over 100 plenty of times... I used to drive out of state quite frequently for trips with friends (read: Beatles tribute band concerts) and I knew the highways that didn't get patrolled. One of the guys in the band Shout (plays Paul) told me, "That's great. You've got it out of your system. DON'T EVER DO IT AGAIN." I got to be pretty close with some of the bands.

But yeah. I think the fastest was around 120 mph in a 97 Toyota Corolla...

In my new car, I've only gone around 80, when I wasn't paying attention on 71.
 
The fastest I have driven is 60 mph and thats the fastest I like to go. I'm a new driver and I much prefer lower speeds.

The other day I was driving and I was like this speed is perfect and my mom was like you're going 4mph lol.

Maybe 100? I'm a slow driver usually, so that was a fluke LOL. Meh, I'm actually kind of a crap driver. I bet it's the Asian thing...
 
60. I was in a car accident when I was younger so I'm a very nervous driver. Actually, that's an understatement.

But my car is old. I don't want to push it, I want it to last as long as it can! Every time it starts driving funny I get in a state of panic, saying 'Don't die on me car, I can't afford to fix you! You can do it!'

I'm aware that talking to my car is strange. I'm weird and I love it. 😛

I'm a nervous driver as well. Hehe. I've been talking to my car recently. Only when I start it up though. lol.

The Only Time I Speed Is When People Are Pushing Me Up The Road. The Day I Drove 90 mph It Was 5am and I Was Rushing To The Hospital.
 
on a highway...110 mph in a SUV and a Suziki motorcyle...but I won't do the motorcycle now a days cause i'm not reckless like that anymore.....and 150 in a Corvette with the top down...that was pretty reckless now that I think about it to...but that was on a dead highway in boondock Florida

I'm sure. I'd never gone that fast and I probably never will. That would make me too nervous!

I've never gone over 85 driving myself but I went to college in Monterey and had a friend that worked at Laguna Seca and I got to ride on the back of a motorcycle going about 115 mph on the track. (won't be doing that again)
 
about 70/80 on motorways... normally don't go higher than that because i'm close to London here and the traffic cops are really overzealous

I have not really driven highways yet but I have gone like the most 60 maybe. The normal is like 50 on most roads.
 
140 km/hr down hill with the wind behind me in my 89 excel. And about 150 in my 1990 apollo when I wasnt paying attention down a hill on the same road. (I duno what it is in mph). My poor old cars were not happy with me. And I talk to them too. Jimmy, the excel used to get encouraged to go fast because I was young and dumb while now Cammo the Apollo gets told off for speeding.

One of the stupidest things I have ever done was get into a packed car (so I was sitting on my friends husbands lap with no seatbelt) while the driver was high on speed. We were all in altered states of mind and egging him on and I think we got up to 260 km/hr before another car pulled out in front of us and nearly caused us to crash. I have no doubt we would have gone faster had that ute not pulled out in front of us. At the time it was exhilarating, but now I realise how incredibly stupid it was. We were really lucky.

Speeding may seem harmless at the time but it is really reckless and dangerous to get up to high speeds. Please be careful!
 
Fasted I ever drove was 110mph on the parkway. Would NEVER go that fast again or anywhere else.
 
Oh man. I must be a crazy girl. Its kind of a tradition for me and my brother, when we get a new car, to test the govenor. My current car goes 128mph. I will never top my Buell out though. If my bike doesnt scare me, I shouldnt be riding it.

Haha sorry guys, but compared to Germans this is nothing.

I'm not sure if you know, but large parts of our highways don't have speed limits. When I'm driving with my dad on the highway, we routinely drive around 100-110 mph.

The fastest we did was about 135 mph I think. But only when the streets are pretty empty.
 
70 on the freeway. I just got my learner's in September so I'm really wigged about making sure I follow all the rules 😛
