How good is BtVS post Angel and Cordelia?

I love the early seasons...I prefer them 'cause everything had that new flavor, the cast, the places..it was all more magical to me but I do enjoy last season quite a bit. I would've loved for Angel to be on Buffy all seasons but that's a Bangel thing so toss that out..LOL. I don't really like Cordelia but some of her character added spice in the gang...To sum it up, it was hard for me to accept Angel on his own in LA and especially that Cordelia went over with him but you know..I'm watching season 4 of Angel for the first time (took me a long time to get there) and I get these characters had to have their own journey.
 
The show gets better when Angel and Cordy leave. There new characters coming on the way and there are new relationships as well. I love the early seasons, but the later saesons are much better in my opinion.
 
It's true, many fans do prefer the high school years, and it's a completely legit preference.

Yet, the later seasons are good. The entire show is brilliant. Why not give it a chance? If you didn't like it, then no one is forcing you to watch it again.

It's impossible to experience the entire scope of Buffy's journey and to understand the message the show is attempting to get across without watching the entire series. Same with Angel the Series.

Do watch the show in crossover, though, the way it was meant to be be seen. The way it aired. You'll get a lot out of it and it's great fun to see how the episodes "fit" together. Like a Buffyverse puzzle. I can email you the crossover list I made if you aren't sure how to go about doing this.
 
BtVS is still very good post Angel and Cordelia. The storylines do get better and better.

I personally love the fact that Angel and Cordelia left Buffy. They are both 50 million times better on Ats.
