Question How good is Firefly?

It's funny in a way, being a fan of Star Trek it's the whole space 'Cowboy' that didn't come across as that appealing haha.

First time I watched that episode, no one warned me beforehand that it was 90 minutes long. Being unprepared, I started to get not bored, but impatient, and it was probably another year before I actually tried to watch the whole series.

Same with me. I watched the first ep about 3 years ago when I was kind of drunk. Not a good way to be introduced to space cowboys 😀 I have been hesitant to give it another try since, but I'm glad I gave it another shot!

The exact same thing happened with me, too.

I like Firefly a lot but I honestly don't find myself blown away by it at all. I know I never shut up about it but, it wouldn't touch BSG as far as I am concerned.
 
I love Firefly/Serenity. At first, when I watched the 90 min pilot, I was like ehh... but I kept watching the show and was like WOW! I love being in this little world of Firefly and watching the Serenity crew.
