In case anyone's wondering...

Lifetime will start airing the first 3 seasons of HIMYM beginning tomorrow night at 7pm.
 
cant wait till it starts up... And is it me or is Aly looking hotter and hotter as the years go by... i mean seriously, track the hotness from Buffy S1-7 and into HIMYM.

Anyway, this season has been one of the best yet, proper laugh out loud. I been downloading them (relax, i still buy the boxsets, im in the UK so sue me) and always used to download Heroes first...until this season where i cant wait to watch a new eppy. Brilliant show, and unlike Buffy, all my friends seem to agree!
 
I am finally caught up in How I Met Your Mother. We started on Christmas and finished about 6 days later. 😉 I absolutely love it, and I totally ship Barney/Robin. 😉

My one sadness right now is that it airs on Mondays at 8:30. 24 airs on Mondays at 8, and unfortunately, as much as Mr. Crayon liked HIMYM, he likes 24 better. >_>

Anyway, I thought that the new episode premiered tomorrow, not the 12? Maybe I read dates wrong. Though now I want to start watching on Lifetime and see what I can pick up that I missed first time around. 😉

Favourite episode, definitely, though is when Lily woke up in Barney's bed. 😉

And Silum, I definitely agree about Aly getting hotter. 😉 My only wish is she'd revert back to her red hair. Alas, that must wait until after the baby. 😛 😉
 
Marshall is like the brother I never had. When he talked about carving turkey with old green it nearly put a tear in my eye. The show just has very classic lines for me; things i can relate to or enjoy.

The whole show is great fun, i can't wait for it to come back; I'm missing it!

I would rather watch 24 as it airs than HIMYM, I admit it. No knock against the latter, though -- it's just less of an intense "gotta watch it right now and find out what happens" kind of thing. 😛

Other than that, I agree with my wife on most aspects of the show. 😉
 
So what's everyone thinking of the new episode? Is it just me or can you TOTALLY tell that both Aly and Cobie Smulders are pregnant? I'm really curious what thet're gonna do with that for the rest of the season.
 
I still like the show but I can´t say that I´m totally loving it anymore. And about both of them being pregnant, Aly said on Ellen (if you watched that clip) that they´ll hide her behind a lot of things. There´s a reason she got a lot of mail in her lap whn she was sitting on the couch. 😉 Not that it helped that much. Maybe for people not knowing she´s pregnant but for us who do it shows already.

I loved the hot dog competition. That amused me. 😉 And you could definitely tell that Alyson was pregnant... she kept wearing these dark, loose shirts. 😉

Cobie Smulders, yes, but not quite as much. It'll be interesting to see where they go with this. I thought they were gonna send Robin back to Canada to get around her being pregnant. 😛

Although, my favourite bits were the Barney. He is soooo head over heels for Robin and it's adorable. I loved how he got down on one knee when they mentioned the marrying an American citizen part. 😉

Was there a new episode last night or not?
Somebody here at university just asked me and I wasn't sure cos I can't find anything online.
 
Are they maybe trying to not show so many episodes so they don't have to film too much right now, while Aly and Cobie Smulders are pregnant? Wouldm ake sense I think...then, after they've both given birth it would be easier to film.
 
Wow, this episode hasn't even aired yet and is already everywhere on the internet. I got the link last night and only sent a message to one of my college mates (who really worships the show) and one of my roommates I always watch it with, but when I got up this morning the link was on various link-collection sites. Really, people need their weekly dose of HIMYM episodes, I guess.

So, what is everyone thinking of this one. I assume we should probably put everything in spoiler tags, as the episode hasn't been officilly aired yet.

Oh my God, seriously, to hire actors to play his family is so Barney. I couldn't see anyone else shameless enough to pull that off.
Wasnt it hilarious when the kid thought he picked up on some sort of vibe with Robin and tried to kiss her? 😀
And talking about Robin, wasn't it just so cute when Barney's Mom gave him advice over love and giving it a shot and then Robin walked in? From Barney's look you could really tell how much Robin means to him. it's just so cute.
 
It *FINALLY* aired here. 'bout time, too. I was ready to start strangling people. And I didn't even *think* of looking online. 😛 Bad me. ^_^

Anyway, wow.

It was adorable! I definitely agree with Cangel. The kid was absolutely crazy... then, when Ted was kissing "Betty"...

But still, I loved all the looks from Barney to Robin... I wanted to melt. He's sooo much in love with her, and really cares for her, and it's so adorable. 🙂 I loved this episode to bits and pieces.

And yes, only Barney would pull this off, and *defnitely* Barney would pull it off. 😉
 
I knew that Aly was pregnant but I didn't know that Colbie was. I watched the new ep last night and didn't notice. But I might have been focusing too much on Aly's pregnancy to see it.
Anyway, I have sadly missed a couple episodes this year because of school. What happened with Barney and his thing for Robin? I know they slept together and then he started staring at her in a lovey way. But I am not sure if they did something to make him stop liking her or anything like that.
 
How I Met Your Mother scoop: Mother revealed by the end of the season?

For once, I'm probably not jerking your chain with that title.

How I Met Your Mother co-creator Carter Bays tells me that the sitcom's central mystery is about to be solved. Or rather, resolved. At least kinda-sorta.

"At the end of the season, we will address the title of our show," reveals Bays, adding that the last four episodes will feature "big events in the lives of our characters -- specifically Ted (Josh Radnor). We're going to wrap up some things that have been left dangling."

Translation: I think the M-bomb's about to be dropped!

Bays wouldn't elaborate on the nature of the revelation (i.e. will the mom actually be ID'd?) or how it might figure into this season's cliffhanger. "But I will say at the very least that the season will end with a complete sentence," he teases. "We've left some sentence fragments dangling in past seasons, but this year, there will either be a period, a question mark or an exclamation point. We will be giving the audience that."

Thoughts on what that sentence could be? Do you think we'll actually meet the mother or just learn more about her? Are you happy the show is getting back to its primary conceit? Sound off below!
