How long After A Season's Finished Doe's It Come Out On Video?

I think that is not a good comparison as it has just been in the last year or two that buying tv shows on DVD has become common place. Think about it this way, Angel Season 1 just came out last month, and I believe Season 2 is coming out in September. If they keep that pace up, Season 3 will come out in February 2004, Season 4 will come out in September of 2004 and Season 5 will come out in February of 2005. That would allow for Season 6 to come out just as Season 7 (if we make it that far, but come on, sure we will) is starting. Who knows if the will keep up that pace though.
In the future I bet you'll see tv seasons released a year and a half after they were first aired, that is they will be released halfway through the next season. That's the way it has been with shows like The Sopranos (excluding the huge break between seasons 3 &4).

Yes, that is accurate. I think the person may be referring to the VHS Boxsets which are released in the UK. Those are released in sets of two and come out much faster than the DVDs here (Season 3 is already out). I am not from the UK though so I am not sure when the first set of Season 4 would be released.
Angel making it to Season 7? I would love it but it looks doubtful. Their ratings are like a 2.4 on average this season. Smallville is at like 8.5 and that Lone Ranger movie that played in Angel's timeslot during Sweeps had a 5.4 or something. The ratings for Angel are VERY low (although higher or fairly equal to Buffy's). I am hoping it is renewed for another season or two because this season has been great. Joss especially hopes it isn't cancelled this year because he has a completely different plan for Season 5. It would also suck if Angel had to end without a finale that was written as a definate series finale, so it may not end as it should.

Not sure if it helps but usually the first boxset is relaesaed on VHS at the end of the season sually in June the second in August thats how its been the last two seasons for both Buffy and Angel.
