I think most of the members on here come online alot, and I was wondering how long do you think you could go without coming online - at all? That means no internet, not just coming on the boards?

i could probably go without it cos i don't actually have it at home! i spend most of my lunch on the net though!

it'd depend whether it was self imposed or if temptation was taken away.if the computer was sat in my front room saying log on log on log on LOG ON i wouldn't last too long, few days but without temptation oooh at least a week!

I think i could manage at least a week.... Though it's different in different circumstances though. If I am on holiday for longer than that and so away from my computer and the internet i do fine, I dont miss it too much because im doing other things, and dont have the temptation of it being rite there..just waiting for me to log on.. lol.

I think I could manage about a week, I've been like that before, just not gone on. Of course at the moment I'm online all the time to avoid studying 😀 Even when I got banished to my room last night (really must learn not to swear at my mum when I'm stressed) I had to take my laptop with me, albeit no internet connection 🙁 I just had to play spider solitaire for 45 minutes before I decided to geto n with my homework 😉

I could'nt last a day. As well as using it for the boards i use it to chat to my friends as its cheaper than phonecalls across the country and abroad.

Even when i go away i always pop into an internet cafe to check my mail at the least.

I voted for 'Are you kidding? No internet access? I'd die!' because I need it for school and ofcourse chatting with my friends. Life without internet looks pretty boring to me. They don't air good shows on the tv (except buffy, angel, charmed, gilmore girls) and I don't want to go out because it rains here too much

Wow, no net!!! No way!!! I'm online all the time, how would i last? I love visiting all the boards i'm registered on, i'd just miss them too much! *lol*

I couldn't last more than two days, even if it's just to check my mail. I'm on the internet everyday. I think I could last one day, but I'd feel swamped with things to catch up on. Usually, I spend my time on these message boards, and others, and talking on AIM. Then there's homework I could be doing, and checking out other interesting websites. The internet gives us access to almost anything that we demand. I could spend 24 hours just on the computer. Believe me, I could find things to do for that long. The internet rocks!😎

i had to go with out it for a year! shock horror gasp.
it broke, and this guy took it to fix it the november before last; still havent got it back. so we bought a new one 😀 *grins sheepishly.*
i need the net!
love cordy xx xx

Holy crap! A year, Cordy?! That's way too long. (Oooooh, I have to say: I Love Your New Banner!!!)

i voted are you kidding? No internet access? I'd die!, lol, it's like a drug, very addictive, i love going on the net, talking to friends. my mum, thinks i need help cause i'm on everday day 🙂 lol

I picked the first one since I would die without the internet!!!!!😱

I have to be completely honest and say "Are you kidding? No internet access? I'd die!" It's the worst during summer, because I'm away and we don't have a computer! My cousin's, who vacation in the same town as my family, have internet access, so I check my mail/boards there.

i know fivebyfive.it was hell. a WHOLE year!(i know, it's so cute isn't it? lol.)
love cordy xx xx

I could go a couple of weeks [assuming I had time to halt most of my mailing lists so as not to have my mailboxes explode] by choice, maybe a month if I was mad at someone, or just really exhausted. But that's by choice.

I went about a year with no cable/no internet/no phone. I hated it for the first three months, and then I got used to it... The cable, btw, is worse than the no 'net.
