How long did you lurk for????

I lurked here for ages. Watching you all. Taking notes. Learning all you likes and dislikes, keeping track of every little detail, all your good and bad habits. Just sitting here. Lurking away in the dark with nothing but the deranged scribblings of my mind for company. Waiting for the next post to disect. Just waiting for the next poor victim. Just waiting to make my move. Just waiting for the right time to strike. And none of you were any the wiser. Muwahahah. Muwahahahaha!.... .... But you know, perhaps i've said too much.
 
Was looking for a picture. Found one from here, it was posted in a thread, IIRC. I was like "oh, Buffy forum?" Thought I shouldn't really look, but decided too anyway and was debating back and forth whether I should do anything about it for several hours before I broke down and joined. Part of the debate was what my screenname would be if I joined. See, when I'm on fan-specific forums, I like my name to correlate. So on NarniaWeb I went with "Queen Swanwhite" because it was Narnian, but not popular. 😉
 
I searched for myself to see how long I took to posted, I think I posted on my first day with:
Hi Im new I totaly agree with you Xin I was thinking the exact same thing, that the reason the slayer line was messed up was because both Buffy and Faith were active Slayersat the same time. Buffy was not an active Slayer after she died in season 1 but when Willow brought her back she was reactivated as the Slayer, it also explains the "its because she lives" thing, because she lives as an active Slayer along with faith!

Im normally not the posting kind, but after a while I started and in fact Im just writing this, because i cant post it all one-wordy. ;_;
 
Well, when Cangel first told me about the boards, she thought I was lurking for weeks and kept bombarding me with "when do ya sign up, when when when?" PMs in the German chat site I know her from (so, yep hun, you are a forum s**t :nana: ) ... however, I was lurking on another Buffy forum at that time (one that seems to be down since Jan 1st now), because big stupid Mystic had confused the two Buffy related links sent by Cangel... :lmao:

When she finally found out I had been lurking on the wrong site and gave my the BB link once more, it only took me an hour or so to decide I'd want to join here... and I guess a day or two until I made my first post. 🙂

You people all make it sound like I forced every single one of you to join RIGHT NOW and threatened to use violence...which I didn't, haha.
I lurked for awhile before registering, maybe a week? Then, post register I was still lurking...maybe 1/2 a day?

Then the friendly La Luna Unita, T.K. and Lou really welcomed me warmly with PM's and visits to my profile page. Once I engauged and saw how nice the people where around here my lurking officially came to an end.
 
I lurker for about 2 months, i was dubious of joining becuase i've been on some not so friendly forums! buts i love it here 😀

I was searching for a better Buffy forum than the one I was registered before (well I still am) and I found this. I registered the second I found it but I think it took me a while for my first post because I just wasn't used to write in english.
 
I think I only lurked for a few days before registering. But I'm not a real big poster (most my posts are in Social Studies I think), most things have been said so I find myself giving out karma more than posting! I write things and then decide not to post alot of the time. Im always in the IRC though haha, I dont have time to think much before pressing enter there 😉

I lurked for around a week or two. I actually joined another site before this (because BB wasn't the first one that came up on Google), but that one wasn't quite as welcoming and it seemed to slowly be turning into a Twilight forum. Then I found this one, and I was hesitant to join because I wasn't sure if I was gonna fit into the mold, but after a little while, I realized I was lurking excessively so I went ahead and registered.
 
I lurked on here on and off for quite a few months and then I lost the link, once I found it again I decided it would be fun to join and meet some new peeps and voila here I am.

I got looking for a board, this looked the best and I became a member the same day. My hello thread was also started the same day and I slowly started posting even though I said I was mostly gonna lurk. Asked to be sorted two days later and the rest is history. :tongue:

Even with an average of 7.51 posts/day (thank god not counting the ones in slaying practise) I´m still claiming to have a lurker mentality. Makes sense? Maybe not but i rarely do anyway. But you can lurk more things than posts. 😉
 
About a year lol, just to fill in gaps and make sure other people thought certain episode were crap/brilliant/confusing. Trouble is I kept being bombarded with spoilers, i couldnt help peaking into the S7 thread when i was only at S2... of course it was very little time before I had completed the entire series but i still didnt register.

...oh im new btw... lol
 
i actually joined straight away i was looking for a good active forum for buffy so my luck came when i found this place i think i looked around for like 2 minutes and joined
 
Joined right away....was pretty active then I got sidetracked and now I lurk. 🙂 I'm a ninja. We lurk.
