How long does it take you to receive your comics?

For those of you who order Season 9 etc, how long after the issue date do you usually receive the issue?

(This is a question that is pertinent to spoilers. Thanks 🙂)
 
I used to order from TFAW and it took a month to get the issue. I was always a month behind, even though I was fully subscribed for the season. Because of this I now download them directly from Darkhorse because the wait was just ridiculous. I tried out places and found that whit shipping, it was at least a week before I got the issue.
 
I buy them digital, so I can (and usually do) get them as soon as they come out. Now, that is dependent on me actually having the money at the time, so sometimes it takes me a little while to get them, but really, I take it on myself to avoid spoilers.
 
I have 2nd day delivery from TFAW, but I don't recommend it, because the shipping charge in way more expensive than the comics themselves. And even with that it has sometimes been 5 or 6 days before I get delivery. (TFAW is very sympathetic, but they say that they are not responsible once the package is shipped)
 
A maximum three days, but usually I get it the day after the release date.
 
Quite a few years ago I used to purchase almost all my comics in single issue print from a local comic book store. I had a membership there and various titles were released on Wednesdays. The proprietor would hold issues in a box for me until I came in and picked them up.

Now though, everything I read comic wise is in trade format. I haven't bought an actual single issue in years. I get everything from Amazon.
 
For a while I got them the day they came out at the local comic book store; but lately I've been picking them up sometime during the weekend after the issue is released.
 
I subscribe so they arrive in my mailbox around 2-3 weeks after release date. (I think...)

But I've also realised that I can buy a digital copy on the iPad.
The app is total crap but that way I can get them on release day.

My comics arrive at the shop on Wednesday. I used to run down there after work every Buffy comics day, but that became too much trouble in season 9 when there was a new issue almost every week. So, I just buy the digital comic on Wednesday morning, then pick up the paper comic on Saturday.

Right? The app is awful. It's like it doesn't want you to read the comics. The Comixology app is infinitely better for comic reading.

Yeah, I can barely change page when reading lol. And every other download fails. Think it's the worst app I've ever tried.
Thanks guys 🙂 I'm interested for spoiler-marking purposes and also for our tweeting of the issues when we catch up enough for there to be new ones to deal with.

Are they going to be hash tagged like the rewatch has been? That way, I can just filter the hash tag to avoid spoilers for what I haven't read yet.
 
You can skip the app and just read them through your web browser, right?

I tried looking at mine on my iPad Mini, but the pages are a little too small on it so I just read them with my PC. Dark Horse's digital store is suprisingly PC-friendly.

Yeah you can read them on the Darkhorse site too, though to be honest that isn't even all that good. It's certainly isn't better the CDisplay viewer. Plus, if you are downloading it from an app it kind of defeats the purpose of even having an app if the comics are unreadable.

Obviously, it isn't a major deal, though I think I'd be much more annoyed if I was more interested in these comics.

This is what I do. He charges me less since I've "subscribed" for the entire season. But sometimes I don't get there on release day. For example, I didn't realize we had a new issue last week! So it'll be waiting for me tomorrow.

When I started reading season 8 though, I was way behind, so I checked out the TPBs from the library and eventually purchased them on Amazon when I could get them cheap enough (used, or like new etc). I actually prefer TPBs, but I haven't decided if I like season 9 and A&F enough to purchase them 😀
