Ok, I was just rewatching Hush and after they killed the guy in his dorm and they were back at the clock tower, there were five. But most of the merchandise and stuff has four Gentleman.

I remember there were two two "man" teams, so maybe the fifth Gentleman was a sort of guard for the hearts previously collected.

We were both wrong. I just re-watched that episode, and there were, in fact, not four, not five, but SIX Gentlemen. You can see all six in the scene where they cmoe along the street for the first time.

I always thought there were more than six. I can't get out my season four DVDs right now, but in the end of the episode when Buffy screams and they all explode, I could have sworn there were like seven or even eight.

But I guess it doesn't really matter how many they are. They were cool. Well...in a way. Unique, maybe I should say?
