How many people has Angelus killed in Sunnydale?

No way to no exactly. Let's see, didn't he kill the museum curator who was holding Acathla in 'Becoming, Part 1'? Then there's the girl he drinks and kills immediately after losing his soul at the beginning of 'Innocence' and one he drinks and kills as the gang walk by unawares in 'Passion'...if my memory serves me right.

I always figured that vampires had to drink blood incredibly regularly, at least every couple of days, if not daily.
If we assume that each season of Buffy is the equivalent of about a year we can assume that Angelus was drinking blood for 6 months, that's what? 90-180 people that he killed.
Then again, to completely disagree with my own statement, if all vampires were draining that amount of humans we would barely have a human population!

Not to mention the people he simply killed for the fun of it. Like the shopkeep whose heart he removed for Dru.

Angelus appeared just after Buffy's Birthday (which is in mid-January) and rampaged around town until 'Becoming' which mentions mid-term exams or something? mid-May?
So 4-ish months? Killing a few people a week to feed (low side) that's like 60+ people right there. Plus that shop girl and Jenny Calendar. But Sunnydale is a pretty small town so that seems a bit much...Hmn.
Also assuming that Angelus was torn between his personal project (tormenting Buffy and friends), seducing Dru (that's like...20 valuable minutes right there.) and revelling in being evil again then I think about 100 victims is a fair bet.

At least double that for Spike and Dru before the church organ and Angelus. After, Spike was being given a puppy by Dru and I doubt that Angelus worried about him too much.
As for 3-500 dead a month - this is prime real estate most likely sold below rock bottom. Those who have lived there long enough to figure it all out are either selling, or giving their houses away. Clearly there was some real estate salesman who practiced serious juju.
