i was just watching old series 3 eps and i never realised just how evil xander has been to buffy. take for example in season 2 he never told her about willows spell and then in season 3 he had a major go at her for hiding angel-he's just really pathetic! when is he ever going to get his comuppance? (hells bells doesn't count as he broke it off!) sorry if i offend any xander lovers out there but it's just my opnion! and it's never come out about him not telling buffy about angels cure has it?😀

i don't think he's ever really been nasty just immature and thoughtless

i think he did it in a not evil way. the first instence... he was worried about buffy and everyone. he knew that if there was even a small chance angel's soul would b restored, buffy would be even more reluctant. and the second; well she ran away without a word, breaking her mums heart and all of her friends. he was hurt and upset with her.
sorry, but i think he never tries to be evil. sometimes he's just scared or immature, ot thoughtless, like Charles said.
love cordy xx xx

I agree but sometimes he's way toooooo inmature

I think he was just trying to help Buffy in the long run with the Angel thing, He never liked angel and he couldn't get over the fact that he had tried to kill them all and he had killed hundreds of people, he just held a grudge. I would say he does get a bit irrational sometimes but I don't think he intends to be mean, he just gets emotional.

the angel thing was 80% jealousy 20%buffy's best interests

When Angel came to Giles in Amends, I'm pretty sure Giles felt the same way (even though he had a reason to), but Giles was just controlling his anger.
If Xander didn't care, he wouldn't get mad in the first place.

I am a fan of him so I think with the curse thing it was probably as well he kept quiet because she might have held back a little and then it may well have been curtains...

For a start,Xander didn't tell Buffy about the Spell becouse she would get distracted about him being good and probably get dead. And he had every right to be angry when she hid Angel,he killed Jenny, tried to kill Xander and tortured Giles for pleasure, and he never liked Angel becouse he was a Vampire,so there you go 🙂

Xander was prolly just trying to act in what he thought was Buffy's best interest (and he was jealous). I don't necessarily think that it was evil, but I was mad at Xander for never telling Buffy...

I think that Xander being "mean" to Buffy was not becuase he meant it. Xander has always had a thing for Buffy and he just simply gets jealous when Buffy doesn't give him the right time of day. I think a lot of what he says is sarcastic but is not really mean.
