I just wanted to say how nice and welcoming Buffy-Boards is. Everyone on the board is so respectful and kind to one another, and the overall mood of the board is very positive. It's the soul reason that I have abandoned all other message boards that I go too. Why settle for less (others) when you could have somethin more (this place)? I mean, I went to theprophecy today and I got a PM from some girl and the title was "Thanks for letting your fans down!" I opened it and it's this girl telling me how I she hates me because I stopped my Power of Five series. It was at story 16! What else could I do with it? She gave herself credit for the story making it that far. So, what I'm saying is that everyone is so great here. I can't pick out one mean person, or pick out one flaw in anyone. Sure some people post sarcastic stuff, but that's ok because it's funny and we can all laugh about it. On all the other message boards it would be like a constant war. Someone would fight everday and then mods would get envolved and everyone would pay. It's not like that here because the mods don't use their power to rub it in everyone elses faces. I used to fear mods, but the ones here are just as great as the normal posters. I've only been here since October, but I plan on staying for a very long time.

You're totally right! I've been in lots of different boards and this is the only one that made me feel like I'm home this quickly. And I've been here little bit over a week! I think it's amazing how quickly I've began to love this place... 🙂 And the reason is all the great people!
 
It sucks because Buffy-Boards isnt very well recognises. Someone posted a thread somewhere about the top 100 Buffy sites or something like that, and this place wasn't even on there. It was a shame too, because I've been to the other websites and this place makes them look like trash.
 
It was me...I just adore this place..Other boards are less interesting and I've met here a bunch of people who I'd like to meet in real life...I also love graphic side of BB...For me BB is always 1st!!
 
That's so sweet Parker; I'm not the best person to speak for the mods or admin, due to my perpetual absenteeism (damn university!) but I wanted to say thanks for that 😀 Oh and as for abhorrent use of power; you haven't had too much to do with my co Head Mod The First Evil, obviously....he's evil...honestly! 😉 😉
 
We all have a little bit of evil in us. And don't thank just me, there are hundreds of people here who think the very same thing.

Comments like these should certainly make all of us involved - members & staff alike - proud of what we have made Buffy-Boards - a great community! ::evil1::

I haven't seen him aside from the Writers Den. Should I be watching my back when I'm in dark places?

But thanks for saying so Parker (and evryone else who echoed his sentiments). Sounds like I had the same experience with message boards that you did, and that's the main reason we started this one.
 
It's good that this place is liked that much. I sometimes pity that confrontations on these boards are avoided, but you made me remember why it should be.

Well, you did a very good job running this place. It's a very professional and fun environment. I've told my friends to come here, and one of them has signed up already, so yay. LoL.

Allycat - you want me to find someone to hate? I could hate you if you like. You could get a special sign and everything.
 
Lmao Parker; don't give him a sign, it'll inflate his ego 😉 And yes look out for TFE, we've been trying to shake him off for years; to think I've known him for 4-5 years now...I was sane once! (Only joking hon, honest!)
 
He's a bitcha too? Is that an actual word? Because I wrote that on my back pack for no aparent reason and now it's being used all over the place.
 
That he is; no TFE and I use to wind each other up back when he was space_duck and I was Leababe666 back on the old original days....years down the line he's not quite so hyperactive 😉

Don't worry, Cordelia and I are just being rude about him, a pre-emtive strike you might say 😉
 
I haven't really known anyone here for that long, mostly because I've only been her since October, but I have known Shattered Tears for 4 years.
 
We've been going at this a log time, and we wouldn't do it if we didn't enjoy it. As for being in a top 20 list, i'm personally not to fussed, this site isn't aimed to be on a list its aimed for fans by fans 😀

I've met some great people here, and the staff are almost like family to me. With Cordy and Angel as the parents - although sometimes we have to reverse the roles 😉

But seriously, I agree. Most other boards are chaotic and annoying. Here it's nice and peaceful and the people are super nice. Congrats on a hella cool place, mods. 😀
