How old is James?

I've heard loads of different ages from different sources. What's the most likely to be accurate?

I would say he is about 29!!!

Well, even I saw him in an interview once and the interviewer said something along the lines of, "so you're one of the few cast members who is almost 40." Something like that, so I do believe he was born in 1962. And he might have looked young back in Season 2, but if you can't see how old he looks now, you're not looking hard enough.

I would say he is 35 or so... but you never know. Makeup does wonders.

Well, he isn't 34 but 40. It doesn't really matter how old he is - he looks ab fab.

There aren't many guys around that can pull it off, portraying a character of approx 25-28 (not sure how old Spike is supposed to be) and the actor being 40.

It is official he is 40. This last weekend at the Convention in Chicago he was asked during one of the Q&A sessions. He admitted that he is in fact 40. Not that it changes how hot he is.
