How old?

Does anyone know (round about) how old Angel's team were? I mean I know Angel was like two hundred and forty something and Cordy was Buffy's age, but how about Fred and Wes and Gunn etc?
This popped into my head the other day because I was thinking about the fact that Cordy behaved as a much older, wiser adult when she was only really around 23 when she died. I have to admit I never saw Cordy as late teens - early twenties when she was on AtS, I always percieved her as a bit older.. is it just me?

That's not just you, I always perceived her as such too. Then again, the Scoobies at the end of Season 7 didn't seem like 22 or 23 to me either.

If you mean the characters, I think that they were all portrayed as having been matured more rapidly than normal by their experiences. The actors themselves were, as near as I can recall, all older than the roles they played by several years. That might be what you're seeing.

Fred's age should be possible to calculate. As I understood it, she was a cloogee student before she disappeared. So maybe about 20 years old? Then we have the 5 years in Pylea, so we are at 25 by the time she joined AI. Can that be right?
Wesley has to be pretty old compared to the other ones, when Cordy was still in high school he was already a Watcher.

EDIT: acording to wikipedia Gunn was born 1978. They don't name a source so I'm not sure how reliable this date is.

Well Gunn's flashback happened 7 years before 2002 (the air date of double or nothing) and he was 17 then, so he'd be born about '78ish. Fred and Wes? Not sure. Fred finished college went to LA for grad school. Could she have gone to college early? Either way I'd say that perhaps she's older than Gunn or at least the same age.

I always thought of Gunn to be late 20s, Fred to be mid 20s, Wes to be close to 40, maybe mid 30s, and Cordy to be mid 20s, but that could just be because of the actors, like WhiteAvenger said.
