How Oz handled lycanthropy outside of school?

I'm bored and read a comment about keeping a werewolf in the library. So, I thought I'd just ask others to speculate on where Oz locked himself up during holidays and summer? (I might speculate on it myself later.)

And where was his cage in season 4? For some reason I'm thinking "crypt" but that just doesn't seem right.

And want to speculate on his baby cousin also being a werewolf? Or how a baby became infected/cursed? Maybe there are others in Oz's extended family with their own chains and cages (and that can provide an answer of where Oz stays when not in the school library, though it then begs the question why he uses the school library at all).
 
That cage I also assumed was in a crypt. After all, the Scoobies spend a lot of time in graveyards and cemeteries and are more likely than most to know which places are deserted and usable by, say, a werewolf in need of a cage.

My assumption regarding the library is that it would be at least nominally safer, because almost no-one but the Scoobies ever visits, plus it's inside, more comfortable and easier for friends to watch. Given everything, they could easily do it when the school is nominally closed too.
 
Schools are generally open during the summer. I mean, there's summer school, repairs and maintenance, continuing education, et al. Giles especially, would have the excuse of doing library maintenance, updating the collection, repairs, digitizing the card catalog, moving books from Dewey to LOC et al. Teachers usually depart two weeks late and arrive two weeks early. So, aside from the holiday weeks, there will always be some one on campus.

Also, that weird dungeon set with the chains we saw once. I wonder if that was part of UC Davis?
