How the heck do you agree?

You click on the scale button
reputation.gif
and it will ask you if you agree or disagree. You can add comments/reputation to someone. It's really very cool. Just remember to spread it around.

here's the gist of it
You can rate other members posts (by clicking on the icon at the top right of posts). All your ratings combine to your reputation (symbolized by the green jewel in your posts). You may leave comments (such as "I totally agree!") which will be displayed in posts. Please use this rather than actually posting short messages like "I agree" that don't really add tothe discussion itself, but allow you to express your support / disagreement for the person.

Thank you, Prophecygirl. I realize I am not the one who asked this question, but I've also been wondering.
 
It's not always the "scale" button. I've noticed while playing around with skins... that it's normally the button in the middle of the three icons located at the top right of the person's post. For example, my button has a check mark with an x. I think all the skins are different.
 
Yeah in some its the scale in other its the tick/cross button, but they all do the same thing.

Okay I've been trying to agree with some peoples posts and the scales are not opening up for me. I have agreed with peoples posts before so i know it works on this computer but it won't at mo. Anyone got any clues.

Sounds like Jacks may have hit the nail on the head...I had to turn off the pop-up blocker on my Google toolbar for this site for such as this and PM notifications.

I had a similar problem, hence the questions :D
Yeah i have a pop up blocker but i turned it off and chose this site as one of the sites to allow pop ups. But it still isn't working which is very annoying. When i click the icon it makes a clicking noise but it doesn't do anything. I'm getting very annoyed.
 
I don't know what browser i'm on. But when i try to click the scales or x and tick option a little box at the bottom of my page near the internet and world icon says that my pop ups are allowed but nothing happens still. It's getting annoying as i've tried to reset my settings on my internet options and other stuff and it's still not happening. The only thing i've changed is i've just got ad aware spyware installed could this have anything to do with it?
 
Hey I've got a couple of questions about this too...

1) I signed in today and my Karma had gone up to 31, but I'm pretty sure I haven't received 21 points. Do some people add more points on when they leave reputation (maybe you get 2 from mods?). Maybe I have got 21 which leads on to my 2nd question...

2) Is there a way of reading all your reputation received? I can see the latest 5 on my UCP but I can't find a view all button.
 
I can see all my Karma in my User control Panel and it says next to it how many points I have recieved from each person. From what i gather Partners/ junior partners etc give more points. Oh and i just want to thank everyone who tried to help me but i got it working again.

I noticed at the top of my web page that a new toolbar had appeared it had a huge A on it so i removed it from my toolbar and hey presto everything works again. Yey!!!
 
Mods and admins give more points, and you also get more points depending on how long you've been registered iirc.

You can only view the past 5 comments...
