That part was simple. We went on a school camp together and both of us were into sports so we ended up playing on the same volleyball team. I guess the best way to make friends is generally with some sort of interest. I've always been interested in sports so I've made a lot of my friends through teams I've joined or watching games with people. Those that weren't met through sports I met through the long and arduous process of butting my way into a tight knit music scene. Wouldn't recommend that for nervous people. Heh.
